realistically you'd only need 1 axle worth of drive wheels to be powered due to the rods syncing them, right now the other gears are only creating unneeded friction
Hi. Just want to clarify a few things. When you mentioned "4519 Technic, Axle 3", do you mean 4519 Technic, Axle 3L or 4519 Technic, Axle 3 pieces?, because there are different lengths to the axles. Thanks in advance.
Is an 0-10-0 next followed by an 0-12-0 then duplex style wheel arrangements upwards of 0-12-12-0 which weren't officially built but had a little bit of testing to see the capabilities of the larger arrangements, but as a personal question, do you gear them for speed or hauling, or a compromise of the two
The little battery box trailing behind is cute c:
Yes, it is! 😀
thanks! now i can make a p2 thats power from the locomotive
you are welcome! 😀
@@bricksbuilds wait, im gonna be using bbb xl wheels.
if im doing this should i use bigger gears?
@@stationmasterkuma No you don’t need to do it. But I would use my train drive design which is using a l-motor.
you give good ideas from lego pieces
Thank you, more videos are coming soon!
finally someone with who doesn't use crap music
Fax
Machst du ganz toll
Wow your a genius
Thank you very much. More videos are coming.....
If you put rods between the wheels you will not need the gears, just remember to offset the rods 90° that will give you a smooth ride.
Yes that’s right but also two wheels need to be connected together or it will stop turning because it jams

Thanks for sharing.
☺👍
You should try to build a full loco. Great video! 👍
Thank you very much. More videos from me are coming....

Sorry for the confusion it’s a 4519 technic, axle 3l.
@@bricksbuilds Ah that clears things up then. Thank you.
@@theunderrated86 No problem 😉

No but there will be a video coming about a 4-8-0 and 4-6-0!! Many greetings
I wonder if somebody made a motorized Lego LMS 8f
We like to build different variations 😀
Make a 9F chassis
Can you do another one of these but on a duplex frame? In other words, two sets of driving wheels on a single frame
Um, why not use coupling rods for their intended purpose?
Can you do one that uses Big Ben bricks xxl drivers?
At the moment not but I’m looking forward to do something like that
@@bricksbuilds nice!
Gear Ratio: 1:1:1:1:1:1:1:1
Yes that’s right it’s 1:1...
@@bricksbuilds isn't the black one slightly bigger? it's got a few more teeth than the dark bluish gray one.
