Everyone needs to stop talking about the Seahawks… as a fan of the Hawks, I want everyone to continue ignoring us and rating us bottom 15 teams in the league. Geno is below average. DK is overrated and the new coach won’t work. That’s the story. People catching onto what the Hawks are doing is going to put expectations on us and we need to be the underdogs. That way Geno can once again, not write back…

Lockett can't be traded. He has his own business in Seattle and this may be his last season anyway. I don't see a trade being possible for many reasons. Mainly that he is set in stone in Seattle even outside of the nfl.

I think he also has a no trade clause. Meaning he'd have to approve the trade before it can happen. And I'm pretty sure he already said he doesn't want to be traded.
He also has a part of his real estate in Texas. So if it was to a Texas team or maybe even New Orleans I think he’d accept

thanx for that vid, as a long time german hawks fan (1992) i was pumped when Holmgren took over.
They had a roll and a shot for the ring. After that didnt work out they hired Pete.
It was the right move, Holmgren was a good coach, but pete lit a fire again.
Pete won a ring for the hawks, but he blew a 2nd (or Russ). After that it was a struggle.
Getting McDonnald was the right move, his defense will make the difference in this division.
we couldnt beat the niners in the last 2 seasons, cause we couldnt stop the run.
I hope they can reach the Playoffs, but they need a bit time to develope their game.

Because Seattle has a New head coach and new offensive coordinator , the team is not the same even with mostly the same players as last year. This is Seahawks rebuild 1.0 , next year is 2.0. I think that's where we are at. There is no way we are doing the same as last year. I am not sure what it looks like , but, I do expect it to be at least somewhat improved and possibly much improved. We will find out.
Geno plus a fake wide out on the left side = 7-10
QB play by Geno was way down the list of recent mediocrity. Not saying Geno is elite but he's very much like a lot of other QB's in that "middle 15 from 8-23. He needs help around him to succeed. He is very much like Jared Goff. Just not as good when pressured but can get the job done in a clean pocket. Besides the injuries though, coaching, scheme and depth are more important than how many games the QB is winning. If they come out 2-5 (which I doubt, given the early schedule), we have to look closer as to why, not just lay it all at the QBs feet unless he is the obvious reason. But I doubt that would be the case.
McDonald, Grubb and I'm looking forward to see what Huff does with the OL, are the keys to success. Play calling and scheme that gets us converting on ofc on 3rd down and keeping drives going and stopping teams on 3rd down on D to get off the field are the things we have seen them struggle with under Pete. Change that and play good D and stay relatively healthy and the team could win 11 games. Rookie coaches don't live up to expectations, it could be a struggle again. I'm just tired of the 9-8 mediocrity every year. Get to the play-offs hopefully in good health and peaking at the right time and see if we can win a couple. Not expecting too much yet but let's build toward serious contention in 25 and beyond.
