I think the thought is super sweet too since he got her her classic Chanel flap bag when they were engaged or dating for her birthday as well.

I feel that even though she comes from a well to do family (as is Mike), they both realize they're in a good position. They both seem really appreciative of where they are in life.

It's great that your loved ones actually gave you some practical gifts and some funny gifts and not all luxury products, because that really proves that gifts are gestures of love and friendship and not only material tokens even if you can afford all-luxurious gifts.

Because you say so? If she makes enough money to afford that and she enjoys it, why would that be obscene??
I'm not saying she shouldn't be able to buy designer handbags with her money but what's wrong with £1000, or even £500, bags? They're still very high end. The fact that she chose to spend £4000 when that money can be spent on so many other things and means so much to many families is slightly obscene
I've been following Fleur for years and she has wanted that bag for as long as I can remember. Fleur has worked with Comic Relief, which is a great charity, so it's not like she's out spending money and not helping those in need. And even if she wasn't, that's not her responsibility.
What celebrities can get expensive designer stuff and fleur can't? The world is such a hypocritical place.
It seems crazy to me too, but she and Mike make enough money to afford it, and it's not our responsibility to police other people's spending habits. Whether you agree with her decision or not, it's very clear she spent many years wanting this bag, and thought about it a great deal with her husband before she purchased it.

+Fleur DeForce I looked up the F necklace and the opal they use for the letter is indeed a naturally occurring mineral. It gets its color and fiery quality from being a mineral that can intake water (I'm a geologist). Most likely, they dyed it slightly to make it even more blue though.

Over here in Canada it's not really normal to buy your friends gifts, which I'm fine with because i'm a minimalist, I just like to take my immediate family out for dinner on Mother's Day, Birthdays and Christmas.
Maybe for your friends that's true. I'm in Canada and my friends and I all but each other gifts, especially as we've gotten older. 😊
