also a tutorial on occluder objects and making a rotating 3d crown effect would be popular! tysm
It took my several hours to figure out the occluder objects needed to be above the actual model in the scene stack to work, this wasn't obvious at first to me. (I'm new to Spark)

Gimp is a good free one! I had to look up how to use it but I was able to create these effects
Try Photopea - it's basically Photoshop but free and online.

How would you go about doing fangs or something like that?
hey luke is it possible to make one big filter that reacts to multiple motions like for example i want the filter to make something when i open my mouth and something else entirely when i raise my eyebrows or if i tilt my head up and down rly fast
Instead of doing the eyes I added text to the cheeks and freckles, thinking it would do the same thing but it didn't. My text/freckles show up in studio AR but when I preview my filter it doesn't work. Im assuming I should be going about this in a completely different way. Can you guide me in the right direction?
When i select the face tracker texture my face mesh just turn invisible, some help?

Great video!! I keep having the problem that when I try to apply a normal map to the face mesh it completely messes up the look. I can apply normals to other 3d onjects that I import but for some reason the normal on the Face mesh itself keeps jacking up. Any thoughts?

Hey Luke, thx so much! question please: I wanted to apply a video as a texture, saw online one could add an external texture, and there reference a video in a url, but i can't find it, is it still possible? or is there another way to add a video as a texture on the face mesh? Thank you.

dunno, creating texture - is not creating eyes, it creates also all face, and adding alpha - does nothing :/

Posting this here because I can't find any info online: If I want to RESET my animation sequence texture back to the first frame every time an action starts (like a mouth opening), how do you reset it??

Hey! This video was super helpful!! My problem is, I submitted my filter for review on spark and it’s been almost 2 weeks but it still hasn’t gotten approved or rejected. Is this normal? What can I do?
Somebody know how do I flip/mirror objects relative to the center of the face?

hey luke...when i import eyes png to my face it comes weird...it goes to the sides of my face. Do you know why?
hey guys so i think i figured the reason why this happened to me. I saved the png file from the layer itself in Photoshop but when I did it the way Luke did it...it worked
Why does the text on the mask become cloudier during the test?
I have the same problem but it happens with everything, on the model (since I don't have a webcam) everything looks fine but in the app, it looks terrible.

Instead of Photoshop you can use GIMP. It doesn't come to the power of Photoshop but in this case it's really powerful
