Spark AR: Instagram Filters - Smooth Head Tracking
Вставка
- Опубліковано 18 вер 2024
- Tracking things to the head seems pretty simple, but to truly get all of the benefits you need to know these fundamentals! With so many "Which _____ Am I?" filters popping up, I figured we could all use a tutorial in how to track things to the head - but nice and smooth. Enjoy!
As always, you can Follow Me on Instagram to get all of my filters automatically added to your instagram camera OR you can go to my bio and browse through my story highlights or click the link in my bio. Thanks for watching and don't forget to hit that subscribe button!

I appreciate the help, Luke! These tutorials really make the program a lot more approachable.
2:21 omg that's it, i'm about to update all my 50 filters because of that
Great tutorial. Just detailed enough but to the point, excellent explanation and easy to follow visuals. If only every UA-cam tutorial were this great.
Beautiful! Something subtle but makes a big difference
one of the best spark-ar lessons so far, thanks!
Super useful technique! This should be in every sparker's toolbox!
Thank you for this video! Been searching all over on how to make my face tracking smoother!!
Thanks Luke, you always make the best spark tutorials.
Thanks Luke! You're the goat 🔥🔥🔥
You saved me such a headache. Thanks!
great Luke, but The patch Exponentiel smoothing is no more available?
so Exp Smoothing Vector 3 is not now available??
came for the same
@@stargazestudios yo thanks a lot, i thought it would be harder, but i get it.
@@stargazestudios Don't get it. Can you please provide more details or a video?
@@stargazestudios Thank you! Can't believe it hasn't even been a full year and they removed the feature in the tutorial lol
same :( after update
Thanks Luke 🙏🙏🙏
Great tutorial man!
LOVE THIS thank you
Nice tutorial, you explain so easy ✧
Great stuff, thank you a lot!!
man, you are a god! Thank You so much!
THANK YOU !!
The patch is gone. Does anyone knows another way to do it?
hey, so I had the same problem.
I found a way to fix it. Go here github.com/sakshamtaneja21/SparkAR/find/master and you can download the patch BunnyMask/patches/Exponential Smooth Vec3.arp. after that go to ar spark > add asset > import from computer > Exponential Smooth Vec3.arp
Done =D
@@stargazestudios thanks, I will try that.
thanks man! i wonder how it works if theres a face occluder for 3d object face tracking
no exp vector now :(
sick intro tho
Hi! what If I want to have more than one face detected on the scene, is there a way to get "FaceFound like function" to trigger the visibility of stuff not parented to the face tracker?
Really good video, thanks! But why not throw the 3D plane into a null object and change the position of the null object to move it where you want?
Congrats! You are very skilled with AR studio! Can I ask you a question about a doubt I have? I would like to make a square of one canvas transparent in order to show the image in the canvas behind. do you know how to achieve that?
Thank u ✌️

Your video helps me a lot. Thank you. Now I'm making eyeglass fitting filters in SPARK AR. However, the face tracker function applies different sizes of glasses depending on the person's face. I want the same glasses size to be applied. Is it possible to edit in Java script? If possible, what can I do?
This patch is no longer avalible((( Mae be you still have it in your project, sir?

and thanks Luke for the incredible tutorials!
@@GabrielRibe Thanks a lot!!!! However, I just downloaded it and tried - when I connect patches (3d position) - the plane disappears.- actually it teleports somewhere far away on all of the axes.. .... ..... 3d rotation works well
@@user-tm3xw5kl3e you need to go into the subpatch and remove the "add 20 in x direction". Still, you can't alter the damping without going into the subpatch and type it into each...
@@GabrielRibe and how to apply damping to it?
This tutorial was VERY helpful, but when I change to the back camera, the material still on camera. How do I make the material disappear and only appear with a face in it?
Thank you!! :))
Thanks for the great tutorial.
I tried the technique on a FixedTargetTracker but unfortunately it does not work there.
Do you have an idea how I can create a smooth tracking effect on a PlaneTracker/FixedTargetTracker?
dude, you're great !!!! *subscribe*
SICK!
How can this be done with a 2D rectangle/canvas? I tried using the exponential smoothing vector 2 patch but since the facetracker has 3 planes it doesn’t connect. And I can’t connect the rectangles to the exp smoothing 3 patch due to the same incompatibility.
My project has various sized images so I’ve used many rectangles to keep the images true to their size. Do you have any solutions?
hi, do you know what version of SPARK should I use for Mac High Sierra 10.13 ?
How do you create a filter where your head floats?
Is this method still valid given the recent app updates?
with the new patch when i do the steps at 6.30 my plane just dissapears lol
where is smoothing vec 3
Waste if time
