    Just think about this Video. Just think about it. You can see Jupiter, Saturn, Mars & Venus "perfectly", while Mercury, Uranus & Neptune are only like 2 Pixels big. Just think about the Fact, that all of these Planets are gigantic... It's just mind-blowing in my opinion.

      Jupiter and Saturn fascinate me to the core, two true giants of our solar system with spectacular beauty, I mean even our Earth from space looks colourful … But we owe a lot to Jupiter mostly for its mass or we would of been annihilated by Asteroids from the Asteroid belt equator found between it and Mars.

    I just got a telescope and I'm planning on setting it up after winter. What should I look for?

    • @AstronoMarsChannel
      @AstronoMarsChannel  6 років тому +2

      A good option for beginners is a 70 mm refractor telescope or a binocle. You can see the moon's craters, planets, star clusters and others.

    • @Kortex13
      @Kortex13 6 років тому

      That isn't what I meant. I mean what should I try to find, not what should I add on to it. I was thinking of Saturn after I'm done checking out the moon, I'll have to check it's whereabouts. Thank you, though. My telescope is an Orion Starblast II 4.5 Equatorial Newtonian Reflector Telescope. It comes with a 25mm eyepiece, and a 10mm eyepiece. It's primary mirror is 114mm, and it's effective focal length is 450mm.

    • @AstronoMarsChannel
      @AstronoMarsChannel  6 років тому

      Sorry, I was answering 2 people in the same time. You'll be able to see Saturn, Jupiter and it's moons, Orion Nebulae (I believe you can do it until april), you can see venus and mercury too. Have you ever seen Stellarium? It's a good option to find and recognize the celestial bodies. Some objects are difficult to find with the naked eye, with this tool you can get some references (like bright stars) and you'll be able to find the object (like globular clusters, open clusters, galaxies).

    • @Kortex13
      @Kortex13 6 років тому +1

      Thank you so much, man. Will I be able to get a good view of Mars?

    • @AstronoMarsChannel
      @AstronoMarsChannel  6 років тому

      I think you will. In 2018 Mars will be very close to Earth, so it will be larger and brighter. In 2016 it was 75 000 000 km from Earth, I think this year it will be as distant as 56 000 000 km.

    Can we see color when in outer space?

    • @AstronoMarsChannel
      @AstronoMarsChannel  6 років тому +2

      Yes. Earth's atmosphere scatters and absorbs part of the radiation, but you can see the colors through it. When you're outer space, you will be able to see all the radintion, but I believe there is no big difference in the visible spectre. Look images made by satellites or the international space station, they do see colors.
