My cousin here in America had a Finnish Au Pair that craved the salty liquorice candy from home. She had some sent and I thought it was not bad, Strong anise flavor and quite salty. A bit like chewing a hockey puck I'd imagine though.
It's so funny looking this, because i'm from Finland😂😂 And i don't understand why almost nobody who live outside on Finland doesn't like salmiakki😂 I like that😄
I visited Finland and I tried this milk chocolate bar with a raspberry yogurt filling, it was kind of like a fondant/truffle that was slightly yogurt-y. It was lovely and I would kill for some more of it!

Fun fact about the Merkkari (Pirate Candy)! You can see that the black liquorice ones have little bit of it cut out and the reason is that when you swallow it, it cant get stuck to your throat.
oh goodness when your mom cleared her throat i just started laughing like crazy i replayed that one part 3 times and laughed harder every time so far i love your videos they are amazing
Correction: Polly & Cloetta Is Swedish Candy/Swedish Brand. But i also see alot of the Swedish Candy Including "Dumle" and Fazer, so..it adds up i guess :)
***** You finns, ey...I didn't say Fazer was not Finnish! Please explain to me exactly where i state that, and it shall be demolished in a square second!
It's so funny to see your reactions to regular and salty liquorice, which I as a Finn have grown to like. I didn't like it when I was younger, but I've gotten used to the taste. I actually like Sisu's (Gifu) Horna the most! You're so funny, when you are imitating your mum :'D I love this video!

That was great! Unfortunate that you don't like liquorice and it's in so many of our classic candies. It might be an acquired taste and us Finns just grew up with it. I remember eating a bunch of those fake pipes growing up! ^^
I'm an American that has tried it and I found it not too bad.(the black salted liquorice). I had some anise flavored candies that were made in Oulu that were very good. They were yellow with a soft yellow center, not black.

Polly is from Sweden. It's made by cloetta, which are a Swedish company. there is just one only Cloetta factory in this world, and it is located in Sweden
I love everything of those they tried:) But my favorite from those, definitely has to be Salmiakki.. I don't know why others don't like it, I completely love it. I love salmiakki in any kind of way, inside a chocolate or just as in salmiakki.
YOUR MOM.......I was cryin from laughing so hard. So much black licorice, how many ways can you package it ??!! I would not have been so brave. Cheers to another great video !

I'm honestly almost surprised you didn't get any of Fazer's basic milk chocolate, since that's pretty popular here too (but yeah Fazer is like one of the biggest companies that make sweets around here). Fazer's milk chocolate is often referred to as "Fazerin sininen" which just means Fazer's blue, due to the blue wrapper.
Every time i visit Finland (living in sweden) i take som Merkkari mix home with me. LOVE IT, especially the pink ones! So fun to watch peoples reactions on licorice!! I love it not all kinds but i still find joy in most of them. Maybe I'm just used to it :P

Also, that "Gifu" is Sisu. The G is S, like you said, but the "f" is too.
Its really liquorice ammonium chloride. Very popular sweet in Finland. Been over 20 countries and best candies are in Finland.
Oh, c'moon! you can't dislike Karl Fazer! It has the Best chocolate ever! And that one doesn't even have proper liquorice in it!
Lida Rasanen what do you mean it doesn't have proper liquorice in the chocolate? They hate all types of liquorice even fake liquorice.
Well this was hilarious! The best "sound effects" ever! Impressed by your pronunciation (of all the names etc.)! Greetings from Finland! :)
