Out of curiosity, which pickup posistion are you using? I find that the bridge gives it a very thin, bright tone for me.
I used the bridge pickup and played with the pick very close to the bridge to make it sound even more metallic, but if your guitar sounds too thin, try other positions.

Un poquito (muy poco) de ganancia, bastante reverb y tocar con la púa muy cerca (todo lo que puedas) del puente para conseguir un sonido muy metálico. Y muchas gracias a ti :-)

Thank you! :-) I connected the guitar directly to the sound card and added a bit of compressor, equalizer and a lot of reverb and I also recommend that you play very close to the bridge so that the sound is very metallic.

Hey there, great playing ! Could you please tell me what stratocaster is that ? Did you change the pickups ?
It´s a 87´Japanese Stratocaster and I only changed the bridge, originally it had a Schaller but I put a Floyd Rose later. The pickups are the same.

hola jose, q siginifican los numeros q estan entre parentesis?? acabo de empezar a tocar la guitarra por internet :D
Son notas que tienes que dejar sonar, los paréntesis quieren decir que no tienes que tocarlas con la mano derecha pero que, como vienen de un compás anterior, no las cortes, déjalas que sigan sonando.

I added a little gain, compressor, a short delay, reverb and tremolo (the most important effect in this song). And with the treble pickup.

Muchas gracias! :-) Yo usé la pastilla de agudos y bastante reverb; incluso algo de delay, si no es muy exagerado, puede funcionar bien. Además es importante que en las partes graves, cuando tocas la sexta cuerda y la quinta, muevas la mano derecha todo lo que puedas hacia el puente para que suene más metálico. Un saludo!

Hi Jose thanks for replying about slowing down backing track . I’m not sure if it can be done on I pad . I have tried but no success. I don’t have a laptop computer.
Hi Kath! I'm not sure how you can do it on an iPad but on UA-cam in Spanish, down to the right, there is an option that says "configuración", I guess in English it will be "settings", and there you can choose different types of speed. Surely it can also be done on the iPad, you just have to search a bit. Greetings and I hope you get it.
Kath Jordan: Click on the little cog at the bottom right of the screen, then click 'playback speed'. This will give you some stock speed options, but you can also go to the top right of the panel and click 'custom'. That will give you a slider to fine tune the speed you need. I like to increase the speed gradually by small increments, starting ridiculously slow and working up to full speed. The whole process used to take weeks for a single song. Now, thanks in part to the excellent Jose, it usually only takes a few hours!

Yes it is very good. Keep it up and you'll be great at guitar by the time u are 22. I've seen it happen. Takes a lot of practice and it's definitely worth it in the end.

The lines are the strings (up the first, down the sixth) and the numbers the frets where you have to play.
