As I recall, banking (or lack thereof) was one of your complaints about the 4 channel $80USD E120 as well. But your review of that model wasn't nearly so glowing. This flies almost identically to the E120. Six channel in name only. And more than double the price. What changed your mind? The paint job? 😂 Was this a gift from your Eachine friend? Also looks like it fails the Piro test. Isn't that a sign of swash issues? Isn't this the same F06 that freaked out on you on maiden and broke stuff? Well, you managed to get it on the landing pad. Close enough for hand grenades. I dunno, KC. Will the new board come installed in a new model, or will we need to crack the case wide open and go deep diving?
It flies way better than my E120 does, in fact miles better. Only downside is no 3D mode. I’ve parked the 120, I can’t cure the yo yo pitch on that one, real disappointment, my 120 flies like total crap. I have two of these, first unit had a fault with the main board resulting in a crash on takeoff, BG sent out a complete replacement heli, this one is fine - good. I’m reviewing in the context of a beginner with zero flight experience who can actually get this in the air and have some fun with it. Thats the market that they say they are aiming for. I’d let my kid fly this knowing there would be no issues. Once I get my hands on the 3d/6g board I’ll fit that to the original with the dud board and revisit. Pirouette - there was a cross wind that day which caused me allot problems even with my other bigger more powerful helis, I struggled all day getting down on the pad where normally it’s dead easy……. I have video from other flights in still air with it piroing perfectly on the spot……. I had SD card issues in the GoPro shutting down whilst videoing so several 1/2 flight videos…. Annoying, new SD card fixed that.

Sometimes that feels like lowering standards for an ever sinking lowest common denominator. It really is a beautiful model. It is only a disappointment in comparison to the F09. I will consider the first loss a mulligan. Maybe it's not so idiot proof? Mostly because I still enjoy the E120 for what it is. Just another toy helidrone. With boring paint.
