I found some used full Qtrs with some rust, I still have the panels that Jim made. They fit snuggly to the original body shape. I’m going to hold onto them and if I don’t end up using them I will put them on the market.
Not from the man I got the rear wheel well opening from. I did however find some from a car in North Carolina. I will be picking them up from a friend and fellow UA-camr @leftfordeadgarage HG Shelton, next week.
I'm 21 years old and currently fixing up my own 64 comet as my own project car and you are right it is imposible to find the front panel for the rear quarter panels wheel well that the only part of mine that is rusted beyond repair. Their is other smaller spots that I can just patch over but you can't find a replacement front wheel well panel anywhere I was thinking of trying to Fab my own with my father and that won't be easy either. And even finding a template/ mesurments of that section is Impossible. That's my last bit of body work that needs to be done before I can paint it and it's the hardest thing to solve so far. So you are lucky that you got the panels and would be even luckier if you can get the front panel
I’m considering trying a method I’ve seen another UA-cam guy I watch, uses. Fitzees Fabrication. He shows a way to build patch panels with out bending and English wheels. Just simple hand tools. He’s in Canada. Seems like a really solid guy!!
It doesn’t like to start on rust, but took my flap disk and just buffed a little spot for the ground and the start point and it took right off. It seems to be amp hungry. I tripped a breaker. Although I had my compressor going too and there were some other things as well. I need to add a circuit or 2 to this shop.
Nice,,, Good Luck,,Best Regards
Man you gotta butter that guy up so he will make the front panels for you. I’d love to have metal working skills like that.
No doubt. I already buttered his bank account once. But I’m willing to to it again.
I bought a set of front and rear, right and left from Jim S via FB. Got them installed last Fall. Perfect no, useable yes.

Any luck on the front half passenger side quarter. That's what I need. Thanks for the video.
