FOSTER PLACEMENT CALL - 3 boys coming! Lots of questions for the placement line!

Just 2 days after I said we wouldn't take anymore kids with our two 17 year old's, we found out 3 brothers were going to be separated 2.5 hours from their older sister, so we stepped in...but not without first getting our questions answered.
There is definitely a NEED in every state for foster parents. I hope this encourages you to take the first step to get licensed yourself or help a foster parent local to you :)

Thank you for being so real and so vulnerable. I could feel the nervousness and heartache in your voice. It’s the most real I’ve ever seen or heard anyone talk about Fostercare most people try to make it sound like a bed of roses and it’s not it’s terrifying but you know in your heart it’s the right thing to do, so you hold your breath and you jump off that ledge and then you just keep running until things finally settle in! I and I totally understand your anxiousness taking the kids in so quickly. I literally got the phone call and I was told I had 30 minutes to pick them up that’s it I have teenagers and their boys we took in our teeny tiny nieces we didn’t have anything we had no idea what Fostercare even really was, but here we are almost 2 years later and everyone is moving forward and thriving. Thank you again for being a real face to Fostercare.
