This is a good carpool car -- especially if you want to bring a couple co-workers. If you need more horsepower, opt for 3.6L V6 with 303 hp. You need the V6 option if you want AWD here -- the LaCrosse is the first Buick car with all wheel drive.
when he was complaining about storage room for his stuff, he should have lifted his arm and he would have seen a storage compartment right next to the 2 cupholders...
Because Buick has had a dramatic increase in sales in the last 3 years (approximately) while Pontiac was slowing down, and Buick has a huge market in China. If they put Buick "to sleep" GM would lose their cash cow. Buick's new product line is looking really good, and their sales are validating it.
How refreshing to hear a reviewer adjust his perception to fit the car's target market as opposed to their vehicle preferences. I can't tell you how tired I get hearing reviewers whine about vehicles like the 2013 Outback not accelerating like a jack rabbit. Kudos for an informative review. Thank you
I have to say to Ross here, when you open your mind you open your world. You were right on when you said not everyone drives like a jack ass. See, people can still be INTO cars and not be all about track stardom. As long as its capable and safe and has some character. That new Verano looks interesting but in need of some "e-assist" it's self.
How many seats are in the front? Looks like 2, so why would you need more than 2 cupholders? The "cubbie hole" in the door is called a "door handle", not storage, it's used to close the door! These new school reviewers need to look at cars as a whole. BMW 3 series will smash the Buick in handling and we all know that, but the 3 series will get smashed by this Buick in a "family" car comparison. This car has all day comfort, and really good driving charcteristics for a family sedan.
If you mean that the letters are set level to each other, I see it. It's an irksome issue. Most car makers make their lettering in on piece, the word "Buick" would be one single part not five letters, to avoid this from ever coming up. But I don't see this on newer Buicks with that logo, so it's probably just the odd duck.
good review. i really relate to the appeals to individuals who "drive like normal ppl" comment. but 37k is way too much for this car in my opinion. its starting to feel a little dated. if they do a nice refresh maybe i could see mid 30s but not with V6, not a 4 cylinder mild hybrid
I would buy this over a Toyota Camry and I'm only 15 years of age. I actually really like this car as well as the other new Buicks. It's a cold day in hell when I buy a Toyota over a Buick. lol
Honestly, I don't find reviews by people like this all that reliable. People with access to ALL kind's of cars, or in his case sport compacts, and luxury suv's, tend to get set in their ways. Naturally if you are used to high dollar cars like mercedes', or Cadillacs, you will get slightly spoiled by all the nice features, and great performance. Then when you step down to an affordable, slightly above average luxury car like a Buick, you will find it lacking, and it will affect your review.
has anyone realize that, these newer cars all have premium audio with and without navi. its impossible to replace the the receiver with alpine, pioneer and other name brand audio equipment. i rather have it old school which i can replace the stock audio with better audio.
Glad to hear that. Sorry, I apologize for jumping to conclusions. It's just from being interested in motor vehicles and watching videos on UA-cam, I can see that many Europeans have an underlying snobbishness (If that's a word) of Americans/ Canadians...
I am VERY UNHAPPY with my 2010 LaCrosse, my first on had to be replaced because it had an electrical problem that could NOT be fixed! The second problem was an engine light that required a massive call to GM headquarters, engineers and manufacturers to discover the problem with most of the LaCrosse! NOW, the water pump died, the key is falling apart and an ABS light that has left the mechanics baffled, can you say LEMON!!!! My first and last GM!! AUDI A8 L is looking really good now!!!
It was weird to see you driving so slow Ross. Buick is supposed to marketing to a younger crowed, but seeing you drive so slow, made this car look like it was still for Grandparents.
So many car reviews approach driving from the point of view of this "nutcase in a BMW M3." I honestly don't think many people buy cars to race them on the track, or take corners as fast as they can. Why even step foot into a Buick LaCrosse, or a Camry, etc thinking you're going to thrash it?
I said, Buick is an Opel, and it is. As for me? I love US-cars. Had some myself. And no, I do not hate everything/everyone who do things differently. I admit, I'm a bit ashamed of the antiamericanism in Europe.
I thought the Buick LaCrosse would be a great "shoe in" replacement for a luxury vehicle. Unfortunately, the old adage comes to mind, "You get what you pay for..."
what he meant was that there is no space fpr anything else...like ur cell phone, tampons and maxu pads...i knw those are requirements for people like u
What about back legroom test, trunk, radio/mp3, sportsmode?!,... So much test are not shown and to much "I prefer sportscars"-talk. Sorry, this review was a waste of time.
GM Paid back everything they owe. Whatever else Conservatives want to take issue with amounts to the stock the Govt still owns and needs to sell. There's not reason they need to hold on to it anymore.
Buick is a lost child in the family. Good review. Good design but its still for ur grandma...he has it correct. When u drive it like a car its disappointing..when u drive like a grandma its a good car..its still an old person ..grandma car...but good styling...good luck buick for escaping the ax this round..on a brighter note I head buic is one of the better brand in china...
I doesn't matter what car is being reviewed, if Ross or Emme is hosting, I'm watching.
Always happy to see a Ross Video
the best in the car review bizz - Angus & Ross
way to go Ross - your reports are great ! ! !

really wish quality would have went to pontiac and buick to the cgop block. buick is a name of the past.... as is this huge beast of the senior days
when he was complaining about storage room for his stuff, he should have lifted his arm and he would have seen a storage compartment right next to the 2 cupholders...
Ross looks as thrilled as a person going to the dentist reviewing this car.
Because Buick has had a dramatic increase in sales in the last 3 years (approximately) while Pontiac was slowing down, and Buick has a huge market in China. If they put Buick "to sleep" GM would lose their cash cow. Buick's new product line is looking really good, and their sales are validating it.
Look at little Ross Rapoport showing some personality.. you go Ross Rapoport!
How refreshing to hear a reviewer adjust his perception to fit the car's target market as opposed to their vehicle preferences.

Thank you
Ross is the man!
base car with 2 packages is NOT A BASE CAR

Well done, you made me enjoy watching the entire review, even though i don't care about the car whatsoever. I think that shows talent on your end.
i dont think i would buy this car but its still a good car that does its job perfectly, i would prefer a Ford Mustang
it's technically not a midsize sedan. the regal is their midsize sedan.

dont worry in about 7 years that will be some pimps new ride.
Actually, Opel Insignia is the Buick Regal.

Yes. I couldn't find the correct lexis. Thanks ;D
I think most would agree an $80,000 Audi looks good compared to a sub-$30,000 Buick.
Sounds like everyone should vote for honest politicians like Ron Paul.
Nice vid. You definitely prove a point not my type of car cuz I like speed and sports sedan's
Did he just come out from the woods deer hunting to do this review?
I would buy this over a Toyota Camry and I'm only 15 years of age. I actually really like this car as well as the other new Buicks. It's a cold day in hell when I buy a Toyota over a Buick. lol
2 cupholders isn't enough? How many do you want, 12?
@roadflytv charly why haven't i seen you review any car??
i40's aren't sold in the US

Ross should make more reviews! The girls are OK, but I like Ross better!
I am VERY UNHAPPY with my 2010 LaCrosse, my first on had to be replaced because it had an electrical problem that could NOT be fixed! The SPACE SHIP experience...is very true about all of the 2011 and 2012 cars...you have to have some NASA training to drive them..
Either he has a freakishly small head or those headrests are gigantic.
anyone else see at 55 seconds in the Buick lettering is not level at all?
Please remove the roadfly logo in the top right corner.
It was weird to see you driving so slow Ross. Buick is supposed to marketing to a younger crowed, but seeing you drive so slow, made this car look like it was still for Grandparents.
The Buick IS a european car. It's an OPEL. Go check.
So many car reviews approach driving from the point of view of this "nutcase in a BMW M3." I honestly don't think many people buy cars to race them on the track, or take corners as fast as they can. Why even step foot into a Buick LaCrosse, or a Camry, etc thinking you're going to thrash it?
They paid back the loan, ahead of time with interest.
I said, Buick is an Opel, and it is. As for me? I love US-cars. Had some myself. And no, I do not hate everything/everyone who do things differently. I admit, I'm a bit ashamed of the antiamericanism in Europe.
if you drove any slower you would be going backwards:) Is this car aimed for the over 80 crowd???
why the hell is shipping to Germany so expensive, we all would buy US cars like crazy, 32.000 USD is nothing,
Welcome back Ross!
(First)
I thought the Buick LaCrosse would be a great "shoe in" replacement for a luxury vehicle. Unfortunately, the old adage comes to mind, "You get what you pay for..."
2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8 Track please!!!!
2 cup holders arent enough??...how many do u need up front...jeez
what he meant was that there is no space fpr anything else...like ur cell phone, tampons and maxu pads...i knw those are requirements for people like u
... Is this made in china also ? Or yet ?
The review lacked substance. Ross should have spent more time displaying it's features.
the govt. is still holding onto gms stocks, so until they sell them gm doesn't owe them anything
Those faux vents on the hood look like they were bought at Walmart and glued on.
What about back legroom test, trunk, radio/mp3, sportsmode?!,... So much test are not shown and to much "I prefer sportscars"-talk.
Sorry, this review was a waste of time.
they are in America....we dont have Hyundai i40's here
The New Hyundai i40 PLEASE!
36,000 for that ugly thing? should be priced 32,000 for the top model. Great review as always but i still say Buick is for old people
he looks tiny in that car
Kind of looks like a Nissan Versa but with a rear wing.
Around $35,000 for a 4-cylinder with 182hp? eh....
GM Paid back everything they owe. Whatever else Conservatives want to take issue with amounts to the stock the Govt still owns and needs to sell. There's not reason they need to hold on to it anymore.
@ 2:50 : that's not driving like a normal person ! it's more like a "Slow person"
Opel Insignia*
Ross, I really wasn't aware that you knew how normal people drive. Nice try, though. :-p
uninspiring review...OAN:....this does NOT compete with the camry
Who would buy a Buick? Seriously..
lmao, the lacrosse does NOT compete with the camry, es350? yes
Boo to Buick for taking the colors out of the logo.
There's nothing wrong with South Korean people.
I really dot like this Ross guy.
you're
It's ugly... There wasn't an Opel this big to judge rebadge without any effort...too bad
I love the out takes, they are hilarious. as for this car, meh..
Way too expensive. I could buy a 3 series instead lol or c class
MALIBUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
LaGrosse ))))))))))))))
you mean "underlying arrogance". Yes, a european trademark. And it's not underlying, it's mostly blatantly obvious.
ugly car...
Buick is a lost child in the family. Good review. Good design but its still for ur grandma...he has it correct. Review was aweful.
@latindude33 africa
Great interpretation of a bland car.
lol I prefer Japanese cars
