I am doing my a levels rn but I sometimes come to your videos to get a smooth understanding of everything. YOU LITREALLY DONT KNOW THE AMOUNT OF BLESSING YOU'RE GETTING THANK YOU SO MUCH :)
Thank you so much! I firsy watched the distillation video and then this. I tried asking multiple teachers, none of them really explained it thoroughly and skipped to the other parts of the chapter. It's information was not complete in my textbook either. Your video truly helped me understand the whole thing.
The # 1 priority for everyone right now should be investing in non-government alternative income sources. specifically in light of the present global economic crisis. Nowadays, investment in stocks, oil, and virtual currencies are still appealing.
I feel like I could use some more help because I am having so much trouble navigating the market. As the majority of my assets have already been sold, I might need some advice on where to put my money in investments.
@gabrieladam5185I agree, having a brokerage adviser for investing is genius! Amidst the financial crisis in 2008,i was really having investing nightmare prior touching base with a advisor. In a nutshell, I've accrued over $850k with the help of my advisor from initial $120k investments...
Cognito, I thank you from the DEPTHS OF MY HEART for all the information you have excellently presented and taught me, and all of us. Paper 3 for BGCSE was today and your videos were fundamental to my not having a breakdown in that exam room!! A whole question was on crude oil and hydrocarbons which I firmly believe I did well on. Thank you❤
Holy shit, I’m not a student, just genuinely curious and it took a while to find a good enough video, that doesn’t over complicate everything, this was perfect 👍🏼
medals must be given to these two people on youtube who are breaking their backs making incredible videos and carrying us silly little students who kind of forgot to revise
Because their lessons have to accommodate everyone and aren't scripted to the detail and they can't remove a mistake after they make it. No hate on cognito, but you guys hate on teachers too much. Of course, there will always be good and bad teachers, but teaching is not easy so have respect for your teacher
This is so helpful thank you for making these visuals! Im in an Industrial Design MFA and we're learning about Plastics and how these Hydrocarbons are processed. This really helped me make sense of what's happening

In 5 minutes you told me that; Crude Oil is made of dead plants and/or organisms buried in mud for millions of years with high pressure and heat and Fractional Distillation is the process of separating the different hydrocarbons within via allowing them to pass through as a gas and condense where its cooler than their boiling point. Tysm! Chemistry exam on Friday 🤗🤗
Ok. I’m in 8th grade and I don’t learn this stuff yet. But this shown up in my recommendation so I decided to watch this anyways. So I guess I can learn stuff out of this
Can you tell me what the fractionating column is made up of? Because I watched your other video called "simple distillation and fractional distillation" and now I'm watching this one so now I'm confused because the drawing are different and fractional column is different.
any metal with a melting point of more than the boiling point of the fractionates. check out this equation of this mate: C169723H270464N45688O52243S912. this is a complex protein molecule. can u tell me what would happen if we heat a protein molecule at its boiling point. will it become any simpler?

Hi, just wanna ask if petrol and petroleum are the same thing?
Not exactly, petrol, is a product of petroleum, produced by distilling and refining petroleum.
Refinery gas
Gasoline/ petrol
Naphtha
Kerosene/ paraffin
Diesel oil/ gas oil
Fuel oil
Lubricating oil
Bitumen
wow, that was really cool
