Good afternoon sir, I have a question that I would like to ask, The question states that the boiling points of methanol, ethanol and water are 65°C, 78°C and 100°C respectively, and the questions is: Name the substance that was separated first from the mixture. Explain your answer. I answered it as Methanol, but I don't know how to explain it. Please help me and teach me how to write the explanation. Take your time and thank you.
@@CHAY-i1dI’m not 100 percent sure and I probably wouldn’t even listen to myself(im 14) but I would say it would be methanol because it has the lowest boiling point so it will turn into vapor first and go through the funnel and into the condenser before the rest of the substances can turn into vapor this probably won’t help you get the marks but I hope I helped
I got an 8 in all my science GCSEs and couldn't have done it without you. I am a home learner aged 18 who left school at age 12 for various different reasons, so I missed out on a lot and decided to relearn a lot at age 16-18 and self-taught using your videos and completed my separate sciences in just 8 months and achieved a grade 8 and I am so thankful for your videos.
I'm a science teacher, still teaching remotely. This was ideal for my class, as it held their attention (it's interesting) and got the knowledge across in a clear and concise way. Thanks :)
This channel is so underrated man, it deserves more attention. I've watched many videos on youtube looking for a good explanation and this's the best one without a shadow of a doubt.
this is a great explanation, why ? distillation isn't a simple task to explain but he did it in just a few minutes by breaking down the most essential parts which led us to understand the topic easily I am so thankful for this !
I swear you explained 50 times better than my teacher. I really appreciate how you put visual presentations in your videos like diagrams and colorful animations and explain in just 5-8 minutes. As an IGCSE student, they help me grasp ideas and understand the concept more clearly than just a 45 minute explanation with little or no diagrams. Thanks a lot, sir. Please don't stop making videos that really help people get good grades in their exams. 💗
I searched many videos belonging to this distillation purification but couldn't find and luckily I got this video it's very easy to understand. Thank you
