Hi Rob. Good episode mate.I haven’t been watching much UA-cam lately but catching up now. This is a great trailer. Very versatile and has great potential. Nice and low also. Well done mate
Nice trade Rob! I once traded my favorite 22' tilt bed bumper pull for a 1974 32' gooseneck full tilt nobody wanted. It is perfect for my IH and I love that unit, especially after I built a step deck neck for it. Pulled it all over the country, but rust and a broken frame has put it out to pasture. I would like to build one from scratch, just need more time! Haha ~Rob~
I’ve almost never traded anything, but this situation presented itself and seemed fair for both of us since we both got what we wanted and the values were more or less equal. What did you use the full tilt gooseneck for primarily?
@@robstruckshop80 I used it for everything, but primarily equipment, trucks, ECT. My father picked up another one two years ago and he had the same setup in the late 70's early '80s. People are always impressed what we haul with them.
that is exactly what i am hoping to get some day. moving my gradall would be far easier with that than putting it on my rollback. nice find rob. i love lights....im sure i would spend days putting 3/4" dual purpose lights all down that trailer!
I would love that but honestly it rides really well as it is even empty, and the air ride conversion for hutch suspension would be a few grand and a lot of work. It’s got a really great approach angle on the dove and nice tall ramps too, so loading height is already spot on.

Thanks Steve! I’ve got a few select channels I really enjoy watching, and yours is on the short list so I appreciate that

Thanks, buddy! I was pretty excited when I found this thing, it’s absolutely perfect for me
LOVED the intro music off da back rob...... and a good trade too...... lov from martin
ohh wow first comment too heck yea !
Seems like a decent find. I think you'll get good use out of that trailer after a little tweaking. Thanks for taking us along for the ride!
Thanks Bob!
You gotta do what you gotta do in this world
I love that truck too
Smart upgrade!
If you get some air ride on that trailer it be smoother and when air dumped would be easier to load and unload ...just a thought tho still nice

Pretty good trailer a ramped step deck to have
It’s what I was hoping to find.
@robstruckshop80 can haul more than the goose neck ya had, what's so weird is ya don't see alot of them around
You’re right, you don’t. Tons of regular step decks that people add ramps to so they can get up on the neck.
@robstruckshop80 they are nice if ya haul vehicles alot
hey rob the make aluminum fake covers for trailer rims might save you a buck or two and they don't look to bad
I looked into them, but simulators for 17.5’s run over $500 for a set of 4 and that buys 1/2 of my aluminum wheels. I appreciate it though, brother!
@@robstruckshop80 dam didn’t know they where that expensive
@Dang.sauce.. I don’t know why the 17.5 set ups run more than the other sizes, who knows
Any interest on selling the ford l9000 ?
I’d like to keep it, so it’d take an over-market offer for me to sell it.
