    Mr. Neeves, I am left handed but I really dig #2, too.

    Cool knives, I dig em (even the balisong and I’m not really into them). One custom maker that caught my eye recently is Mike Shiffer. If you’re familiar with Doc Shiffer knives, Mike is his son. I’ve seen some of his knives on IG and they look pretty good. I’m hoping to pick one up in the not too distant future.

    I’m super stoked to hear that you’re going to have your own online store! That is so awesome I can’t wait to see what your inventory is going to look like and I’m looking forward to purchasing some fine blades from you pal!

    I think the first and last knives are made by Julian Klein, known for his custom balisong designs. Peace

    Thats the same JK that made both the Outpost and Embargo Balisong. The Embargo is on bushings not bearings.

    Oh man, balisongs.. I lived in the Philippines for 3 years. I tell my brothers... if you meet a Filipino with an accent AND a knife? He/she probably knows how to use it well. That sure is a beauty. I can't even. I've cut myself trying, as I'm sure most people have.

    Does the outpost have a free spinning pivot? 800 dollars for a non captive pivot just confuses me maybe I’m wrong and it’s better to do it that way

    I'd say there are simply chatter marks around the holes of the O'Connell. Bummer! He could work a little on the handling of the countersink. I would not like the chatter marks there.

    As a machinist, the "texture" in the holes of the O'Connell makes me cringe. It's really just chatter from using the wrong tool. That's what happens when you plunge cut a chamfer in a hole with a chamfer endmill. A single flute tool made for plunging holes would make a super clean chamfer. Or you could interpolate it with the chamfer mill...

    Yo for 2500$ and the edge on that ain't perfect off the rip? That is just beating people over the head with price because you used high end materials

    • @NeevesKnives
      @NeevesKnives  11 місяців тому

      no its hand made, the materials are one thing, being made by hand is another. its easy to not understand when you buy everything made from robots and have never created anything by hand, its hard to understand the labor that goes into it, that is what you are paying for and with human hands comes human inconsitancies

    • @danielabbott9312
      @danielabbott9312 11 місяців тому

      @NeevesKnives for 2500$ it better be perfect whether it is made by hand or not.

    • @danielabbott9312
      @danielabbott9312 11 місяців тому

      @NeevesKnives also upon further consideration I would expect something like that from a machine, not an artisan/craftsman, normally things like that become a labor of love and you want perfection, it is a gorgeous knife no question about it, but for that price people expect perfection.
