Went to the hospital, got stitches for it and then came back to filming like nothing happened.
I remember reading the interview the director of the MV did after CBTM's release and how my respect towards RM skyrocketted even more ! 💜
The director was like "oh my god, a national treasure just got injured on my set, Im gonna be escorted out of the country" 😂 said in jest of course, but the national treasure he was right

The woman is music/his muse/his inspiration/his love for music, he's found "her" again.
Life at the party, expectations, paths in life (he could be married with kids, he could have a girlfriend... they are not the same woman)... He finally finds his spring again and goes explore leaving the industry/party, where he finally found his place, behind.
This is what I have been WAITING for. Thank you so so much. I really belive this entre álbum is a masterpiece álbum of the year. Lots of love from México

RM in an interview conversation with Pharrell Williams discussed how you judged how good lyrics are by how painful they are to write. Therefore pain = creativity. Pain divine = inspiration.
i feel like the friends thing is the present, he is thinking about all the possibilities and things that could be, things that could have been but then he ends up being content with where he is now

MV is definitely a cinematic masterpiece.
RM is a true artist.
RM is one of the finest examples... I'm SO HAPPY to see people that are in groups really be able to explore themselves with solo releases. RM, Jimin, J-Hope, Ten, Key, BM, Nayeon, etc.
I have a theory about the visual narrative. For most of K-pop history with few exceptions, a group's career was over after 3-7 years. When BTS debuted, it's very likely the members expected to be done by now, even after the most successful run they could imagine. So like their friends, they probably all had pretty traditional futures planned out for themselves.
But that didn't happen.
Instead they became BTS, and we know it's far from an ordinary existence.
So now they are on hiatus. They are connecting with old friends, spending time with their families, probably trying to build some lasting love relationships. Even contemplating marriage and kids, perhaps. They might be thinking they will live like regular people for a little bit before getting back to show business.
But what if they feel out of place in this regular world everyone else feels so comfortable in? Maybe they don't know how to do small talk at a house party. Maybe they draw a blank when imagining a family to come home to. Going back home and getting parented again would also feel awkward after 11 years of traveling the world. Navigating a breakup? How do people do that without a manager and a PR team negotiating for you? They might feel like the wrong person in all these perfectly normal situations that feel right for everyone else.
I think each vignette represents a different right place/wrong person experience that could easily be happening for them right now. RM is running around the maze, trying to figure it out. And then he meets his anima, who sits him down and reassures him. She makes him realize that everyone else is just fumbling along at life, feeling confused too.
Then he re-imagines each scenario, and is now comfortable at a party with friends. He can picture happiness with a family, or just dating, or letting his parents treat him like their child again. And so he is able to leave the house of fears he's trapped himself in. He can leave and explore all the possible futures out there in the world waiting for him to experience.

There are so many genres mixed into this album. Whereas Indigo was a polished gem each track a different genre. RPWP is strange wonderfully effective unpredictable genre mixes that are so exciting it leave little music nerds like me bouncing and ordering the cd gor my carefully curated collects of music I consider future classics

...Surprised that I only noticed this rn and that nobody I've seen mentioned it before but the concept of the MV as well as the message of the song heavily align with Everything Everywhere All At Once.
The album- right place, wrong person is really worth listening to. Listen to it from top to bottom. It is amazing.

AFAIK rm asked for a song from hyukoh, so I think the track and/or melody for come back to me were given before rm wrote the lyrics.
They weren't given, they all had a song camp together and this album is the result of it...there were 40 musicians in that song camp inside hybe...he alr ady explained everything about it in his minimoni album exchabge with jimin and more
