I feel like M. Mandela was all over the place with his answers and from one question he jumps to something else and even when he explains or sets an example for the answer… he just doesn’t make sense
I agree with you. I think she's spot on regarding love having nothing to do with marriage. Marriage is more about legacy, responsibility and one vision. Love is an emotion which fades, what keeps the marriage going when the emotions are low?
Real , if he was well spoken in English We would relise that he has to be protected all cost & Mbuso deep down knows why he didn't come here. (he (mayibuye) knows the truth )
I have noticed that he is very intelligent. The language barrier was not much of the problem. If he was sober, the interview was going to be perfect, or close to perfection.
Agreed, I suspect he thinks in vernacular and then directly translates when speaking, but our languages (in their true form) are structured a little bit differently to english so meaning often gets distorted with direct word-for-word translation. I work in healthcare and encounter this alot, I am too used to the english language but my ears are not as well trained in my mother tongue, so I found patients would give info about something when speaking to me but I wouldn't pick it up, I would only realize later when asking the question and them repeating what they said earlier. I am getting better at understanding but I'll say, it requires practice to understand a true vernacular speaker when you have an english wired brain.
Great Historical lesson from Mayibuye Mandela. One thing to grasp and the point he was trying to put across is that the Mandela clan was not made by Nelson but rather the royalty that its aligned to. Gudos to MAC G and Sol for having this young man with such vested historical interests in his own family.
Yes and Mandela always said he got to politics due to him being born in royalty so initially the interest to fight for his people brought him into politics. ❤
🤣🤣 Mayibuye answers questions he ask himself in his head. Interviewing a fan is hard 🤣🤣 this guy out of nowhere just say "everyone is saying Dudu must get a raise" 🤣🤣🤣 yoh
The way Mayibuye's thoughts keep boarding different trains is outrageous!!!🤣🤣An interesting episode that left us questioning, the questions that are questioning us.

I think when we talk about marriage, we should not generalize. We also need to bring God into any marriage because where He is, there is always a way for He makes crooked ways straight. There are principles. There is common values! The challenge is that sometimes we marry for the wrong reasons and we don’t go back to the source.
Mayibuye Mandela spoke basic things which are very true and very important that the anc neglected and forgotten, the people on the ground who fought for this country
Guys, mayibuye is actually intelligent it is just that he struggles to express himself. Hence, he has a coach to guide him through his thoughts. Umna, I heard him, and I think many of us did it's just that we are shocked that he didn't live up to our expectation of what a Mandela should sound like.
So true. In my mind I'm like if he's a Mandela he probably went to top schools ryt so he should be able to articulate himself 😢. It's me judging him based on the perspective I have on Mandela's
Let's not judge this guy based on articulation, somehow I do get his drift, there is more to this guy if you subtract the chillers punch and the weight of Mandela name. I like his way of thinking. He needs guidance.

Rustenburg has Rustenburg Civic centre located in between town and the suburbs. ALSO very convenient if you are coming in/out especially for those from pta or Johannesburg
Family dynamic is something we need to touch on. Mayibuye Mandela is a great indication of how SA families have different layers, even in 2024. To think that there isn’t a formal spokesperson for the family who can speak on the family’s behalf in all settings is scary. Things can easily be taken out of context, but in hindsight, maybe we need to hear an unscripted, informal opinion, so we have the true reflection of his reality and many others in his family as well. Hai I have so many thoughts around the interview. But it was insightful.
Rustenburg has a civic center depending on the crowd you want. There is also an information center. We also have Impala Rugby field that they usually host a lot of different events at.
