Restoration German Bayonet M1898 World War 1 - I didn't expect that!

This time I got an rare German Bayonet M1898 World War 1. It was found in a German trench on the battlefields of the First World War.
This bayonet lay in the ground for more than a hundred years and has now come to me. During the restoration process, I decided to just clean the bayonet from rust without using welding. One wooden handle cover survived, but it had dried out, so I decided to make two new beech handle covers, which I think turned out well.

Гарна робота. Але на початку думав, що буде ще й заварювання каверн і шліфування. Звик після перегляду попередніх відео) Вітання з Райберта)

Велике дякую! Було бажання трохи підварити великі каверни, але цей багнет мого друга. А він заборонив будь-яке зварювання. Будуть і такі реставрації на каналі. Не всі люблять реставрацію зварюванням. Райберту привіт!)
