I grew up skiing behind a 14' 25hp Tinny. I learned to ski, slalom, trick ski, and barefoot! behind it. We would pull the plug and just fill the boat for ballast :). I still own the boat, 28 years later. Jeez I'm old :(
love the part at 4:20 where you ride right by an Xstar during your tantrum to blind! Banging tricks out behind the tinny that most people who ride behind a star can't do (myself included).
That wake was smaller than the jet ski video I love it! I ride behind a jet ski most of the time and can't get a tantrum around, hope to get a wake boat this spring and land it this summer
25 hp? dock start? pffft. Try sit start with 9.9 hp at 6000 feet. Protip: be sure to have the driver wear the safety leash because the kick on the rope can throw a driver right out. sidenote: it IS possible to steer a driverless tinny back to shore via the rope... I will say though, going behind a light boat with no wake is a GREAT way to get confidence to try switch riding tricks.
So I’m using a small aluminum boat. But im ting my rope on one corner of the boat and it’s pulling the boat from one side only where could I get the same rope your using?
Wow, that’s so cool that that worked, my uncle has a speed boat and let me try water skiing for the first time and I got right up! And now I’m hooked but I can’t use his boat very often so I want to try it on a 50 horsepower 16 foot fishing boat but I need to get a rope. What rope do you use?
David O'Caoimh that’s what it looked like anyways too. You definitely tripped the tantrums too on that, no bellaires your timing at the wake is perfect.
Since i got such an amazing picture of me wakeboarding, i would like it if you put like a picture of anyone who does something that they are proud of on the end of you're vid. Btw it has to be related to wakeboarding or any watersport since this is a wakeboard channel
David O'Caoimh yeah. But any kind of cornering would make the dingy unplane. Was fun though! Whats more impressive is that tantrum of yours jeez. Such skills.
hahah yeah it's pretty sweet. I'd say if your'e looking for something easy to ride on the boat that's the one/ If you want something for the cable, then I'd recommend the O'Brien SOB, it's a beast :)
I have an idea for a future video. Remember how you did the video of what it's like wakeboarding from your perspective? Do that but do it while using this boat. I think it will be funny seeing how close your head is from hitting th water. Anyway, great video 👍
David O'Caoimh when you do you should go to downunder wakeboard park, loosdrecht for a nice lake and the lek for one of the best rivers to ride on. Best of all these three are all within half hour to hour travel of each other

hahah that's the way to do it... Age is just a number :)
same as 17ft tinny 25hp 4 stroke is what i learned behind
Barefoot behind 25hp.....
You are liar be ashamed
Barefoot ha ha
Thank you so much for this video!!! I’ve been asking for this forever, dreams do come true. Thanks for listening to your audience bro!!
hahahah glad I could make it happen :) :)

No Way!!! I would have never thought it was possible. But then you flip!? Awesome.
man, your great! Growing up we had to learn behind these kind of boats. You are truly going "old school!"
Dude your tips are awesome!!! I'm like 375lbs and thought this was hopeless. But i used one of your tips now I'm getting like 4ft of air!!! Thanks!
That wake was smaller than the jet ski video I love it! I ride behind a jet ski most of the time and can't get a tantrum around, hope to get a wake boat this spring and land it this summer
ohh sick. The boat will help loads. I mean things are 100% possible on the smaller wakes, but wayyyy easier on the bigger ones
Oh yes the people in the Master craft must of freeeeeek
Dude this video was bangin It was awesome seeing you go out and send it on a tiny wake.
love the positive vibes bro
this is pure gold! if someone can't have fun off of a Tinny in the middle Australia clearly can't hang! haha
Mate this was class! You make it look effortless had a grin watching it all the way through keep up the great work ✊
I get disappointed with my knee high wake, then watch this and now I'm disappointed with myself 😂
Feel exactly the same way. Always making up excuses not to land those tricks
Lmfao u gave me a good laugh😂😂😂🤘🏾
Love it! I wakeboard behind a pontoon on a lake...gives me more motivation to do more tricks!
Who could dislike this. This is mad and David keep posting videos
Reminds me of Scott Byerly wake boarding 20 years ago!
yes deffo
So, can you deep water start behind a boat this size and 25hp engine?
Wow that was super impressive!
love your positivity
So much fun, once again proving that you don't need a 100K boat to have a good time and progress on the water!
That little boat moves, nice
Hey how did you attach the rope to the boats tie downs?
I love it! There's like no wake at all, so I guess you're just doing sick Bel airs
I really in joy that thanks again for the videos made my day
That was dope, David! RIGHT ON!!!
love bundaoong awesome place been going there for 14 years and is the best plce ever
4:24 lmfao. they love it. awesome
Dude, you're freakin' awesome.
love the positive vibes

Can you do a vid on how to fall safely and easily and also what comp vest to use?!
I'll try. Ehm, this is an old billabong one. Honestly it's not the best. I much prefer ones with Buckles :)
David O'Caoimh thank you!!!
Do u think is possible to do a raley without tower
So I’m using a small aluminum boat. But im ting my rope on one corner of the boat and it’s pulling the boat from one side only where could I get the same rope your using?
You're crazy Davy!
So awesome!!!!
That was sick i actually wakeboarded behind a small boat like this in the summer it war fun!!!
I am wakeboarding and wakeskating regularly behind 15hp 4stroke on a 4,70m inflatable with 2-3 people, big speaker and equipment in the boat.
Fun!
Where could I get the same rope your using on your boat?
Haha! Since you are able to do a bel air, I was sure you were easily flipping this one :P But it is insane what is actually possible!
hahaha thanks Eric!
so sick! I really need to film with you bro
What’s the difference between open toe bindings and the closed ones like yours
feet stay nice and warm and imo you have more control :P
hahaa yeah the coldness lol. But genuinely, you do have much more control in closed toe :)
David O'Caoimh thank you I didn’t know if it was just the style or not
Wow, that’s so cool that that worked, my uncle has a speed boat and let me try water skiing for the first time and I got right up! And now I’m hooked but I can’t use his boat very often so I want to try it on a 50 horsepower 16 foot fishing boat but I need to get a rope. What rope do you use?
Haha did you ever do it ? I have a 16 and half bass boat and wanna try this with a 48hp engine
@@giovanni2214 it’ll pull you all day.
This was really epic ✌️😄👏
We already know David doesn’t need a wake to even do anything
Yo nice vid
love the videos!!!
David, from your experiences, which was harder to do these tricks behind the fishing boat, or the Jetski from a while back?
Fishing boat by a mile in all honesty :)
David O'Caoimh that’s what it looked like anyways too. You definitely tripped the tantrums too on that, no bellaires your timing at the wake is perfect.
Do you think you can do raley without a tower
How fast did that boat went
my ? is can a small boat pull you up from water instead of a dock start or you gonna pull it under lol
How hard is it to learn jumps behind a 150 horsepower tritoo sun catcher?
On Thursday because I’m there😜
Friday!
Nooo I’m unlucky well maybe next year rip
I like like 2 hours away from Penrith
Does the tinnie pull you out of the water 💦?
You deserve much more subs than you have. Vid quality 🔥💨
how long is your Rope ?
I just spent summer wakeboarding behind a 13ft 15hp tinny
Where is that?
Cool Vid, any comps down under?
none this time. Just pure chilling and enjoyment
realy funny to watch!!! cya tomorrow
Maybe you could pick up a fishing boat sponsor too. Haha
what lake are you at?
Murray River :)
Since i got such an amazing picture of me wakeboarding, i would like it if you put like a picture of anyone who does something that they are proud of on the end of you're vid. Btw it has to be related to wakeboarding or any watersport since this is a wakeboard channel
can u make a tutorial of a tantrum to blind? or a flip whit a grab (indie tantrrum preferably).
grab inverts is one I should do for sure
I wakeboard behind a jetski and the wake seems the same as that boat xD. I can only backside 180 and 360 though for now
that's still so sick Thomas! Fair play
thats actually pretty decnt
Crazy!! hahaha
David when you go to the wake park you should try a doubel backflip
that's the plan
Mad feature hahaha
I wakeboarded behind a 2,70 rubber dingy with a 5hp outboard motor. I had to start on the dock. Because it could not get me out of the water lol.
haha that's impressive
David O'Caoimh yeah. But any kind of cornering would make the dingy unplane. Was fun though! Whats more impressive is that tantrum of yours jeez. Such skills.
Whos here in 2020....Video crushes all the excuses...lol
I wakeboard on a stand up jet ski all the time
Savage!!! When you say all day at the MCP, will you still be there at 6?? :D
So stoked to meet you!
ohhh I'm not sure to be honest. going for about 11. Hopefully stay till around 4 or maybe 5. :)
David O'Caoimh a cheeky lunchtime bail from work might be the go then haha. Happy shredding!
I know it's downpouring but I hope you're still at the cable around 2:20 when I'm getting there :S
We are!!
Was that at the Murray river
The murray starts in Albury and goes to Adelaide, even if it was, why would it matter? Its so long lmao
Any tips for what board to buy?
O’Brien Valhalla of course!
hahah yeah it's pretty sweet. I'd say if your'e looking for something easy to ride on the boat that's the one/ If you want something for the cable, then I'd recommend the O'Brien SOB, it's a beast :)
The board of ya boy it's self
Dope!
Thank you so much for this
awesome :)
That looks bigger than a 10ft tinny
thats like 13ft bud
I have an idea for a future video. Remember how you did the video of what it's like wakeboarding from your perspective? Do that but do it while using this boat. I think it will be funny seeing how close your head is from hitting th water. Anyway, great video 👍
Puts some weight in that thing!
You look so puny behind that lol
Are you going to visit the netherlands someday because i wanna meet you
yessss next summer hopefully
David O'Caoimh when you do you should go to downunder wakeboard park, loosdrecht for a nice lake and the lek for one of the best rivers to ride on. Best of all these three are all within half hour to hour travel of each other
Deep Water Start~ Impossible! ^^
This is funny I rode behind a tin boat with a 25 hp engine up until 2 years ago
I not need a tower... but I need a couple of good beers
Dare you to wear they hat on a rainy day in Ireland!
hahahh I think some pikey would probably tackle me haha
Dean Wilson??
Go to Penrith wake park you can meet Courtney angus
Early squad
I remember the day when i could wakeboard i was young than a few years later i now wear a 15
All teenagers in australia who have a tinnie have done this
nice
Buddy that’s not 10ft that’s 13ft??
Brandt mate it’s actually only 12 foot
James Fisher pretty sure you can measure it in feet too
where's the belair?
Get the filmed and the driver to sit at the back once your going full speed it will make the wake heaps bigger
Makes the boat slower and harder to get on plane though
So one person missed the like button
What a guy! Hahah
David, these vids aren't helping me convince my dad to run the extra weight lol. Btw, I sent you a dm on insta
A tinny...haha
Pls link the hat
hahahah if I had a link I would
damn I waterski behind a bigger wake
Tantrum........Na it's a belair let's be honest here
hahah
yoo lads and §hit, not good light - loled
