Very nice concise video. Like a lot of student pilots I have been intimidated by the thought of speaking to ATC basically the concern of getting it wrong. In practice it isn't that difficult as long as you know the structures as you explain. I've also found the sample flights and associated RT in the back of the Air Pilot's Manual Vol7 very helpful.
here in lockdown 2.0, can't continue ppl training so trying to do it here, radio is my weak point and this was very healpful, cheers
Thanks, but it would be so much better without the music
First HUGE advice, the music can't be that loud, I can barely hear your voice!
Hell, I hadn't even registered it was there it until you mentioned it ........ *and* I'm a bit 'Mutt & Jeff'
Beside, cockpits are noisy even with your headset on - It might be good practice?
@@Farweasel ahah that's a good point!
Thanks good info
was the music really necessary!
The music ruined this vid. otherwise, good content.
The background music was unnecessary, too distracting and loud.
I couldn’t hear though the music
Saying thank you to ATC is not standard cap 413 phraseology
Get rid of the music please!
What on earth are you flying? It’s got pointy bits.
You gave no basics.
