Dagestan is one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen! I'm sure the air is fresh and the water quality better than most places but it is a very hard and rugged way of life especially for women! But, I can understand why they don't want to leave.

It's hard to understand why people build their villages on top of rocky mountains without any road, trees, vegetation, water, civilisation. This is common in Caucasian countries.
They sought there for protection against invaders, landlords and wars. Everything has pros and contras.
