CALM BUOY - Single Point Mooring Buoy

BEINIT ENERGY were engaged by Belemaoil and Nigerian National Petroleum Corporations (NNPC) to provide a Single Point Mooring buoy for export to their OML-55 field in Nigeria.
BEINIT ENERGY employed SMART CONTENT to provide 24 hour live reporting uploading images to a cloud based application that can be viewed securely online.
At the end of the project SMART CONTENT constructed a professional marketing video from the images collected.

It is buoy for bunker from ship that carries crude oil to underwater Pipe line of an onshore processing facility. The Buoy has hose that goes waydown to the under water Pipe line. Those 2 pipes on Buoy upper platform is where the ship connect its cargo pumping system. The Upper platform can rotates 360 Degree adapts to ship position while the lower body (that huge cylinder) is static and anchored down to seabed. This is turn table type Single Mooring Buoy bcz it use turn table mechanism
