Nice video, nice music and complete description of the procedure. Thank you! BTW does the chain is used to connect the vessel to the Calm Buoy? I'm not sure as the video cant show what underwater.
Hi Konstantin - thanks for putting this together, very interesting! Do you require a tugboat the whole time you are secured to a mooring buoy to keep line tension? Won't the natural flow of water and currents keep the line tight? Thanks!
Hi David, thanks for the feedback. The current and wind direction sometimes could change drastically, that' why the aft tug should be secured after mooring to SBM and cast off after unmooring.
Thanks for watching🙂 As for me, SBM is the best way to unload from tanker because no need long time mooring to the berth. Now I'm working as a Captain on VLCC and also I'm thinking about what interesting can I show regarding Captain's job..?
@@CaptainKG Thanks for your reply. About the vdo content, i think you made them good for giving how it look like on board. For the further content, it is depending on who is your audience. For example, if it is for the student who want to be a captain just like you, about work, about daily life, about travel around the world, about trouble shooting during work must be cool for them.^^ Hope it helps. Thanks again.
Hello. I am cooperating with BSM, but I can't help you to join the vessel, because I don't have necessary connections in crew department. I can only give you some advice: 1. Really work on your CV 2. Apply to all local crewing agencies
I had a feeling that I was there, very good presentation .It would be nice to see more such videos.
Keep up the good work!

Yes, the vessel connected with SBM by chafe chain.
How to report chain n if ship is going close by swinging that means distance discreases??if sbm 2chains r der how to report???
You should report, for examle:
Stb chain, 10 o'clock, distance to the buoy 30m, decreasing
Port chain, 2 o'clock, distance to the buoy 30m, decreasing
Thanks for your explain

Hi sir can I ask you explain what is the preparation and function of mooring winches
Hi Mark. Need to change steel mooring wires for the soft ropes on the drums of the mooring winches.
Thank you very much for the very good and knowlegable vdo👍👍👍👍. Are there any options to unload the crude oil from tanker better than SBM?
Thanks for watching🙂 As for me, SBM is the best way to unload from tanker because no need long time mooring to the berth. Now I'm working as a Captain on VLCC and also I'm thinking about what interesting can I show regarding Captain's job..?
