Thank you the only one I read that you listed is Elvis and Me and I read it a long time ago but I'm thinking about reading it again. I own the book by Joe Esposito and I really like that book. I have been thinking about getting Linda's Thompson's book. I've seen interviews with her and her life with Elvis seems so interesting.
I'm a big Elvis fan I have 13 Elvis books I recommend The Complete Elvis,Elvis his life from A to Z,and The Boy who dared to rock the definitive Elvis if you don't have them
I too have been a fan since childhood. Started to buy EP books soon as I left school in '82. Bought Albert Goldman's biography. But to my mind it was blasphemous, sold it in the end. Had many written by people associated, but found them uninteresting. My favourites are the discographys, filmographys and reference books. 'Elvis' UK discography by Townson, Minto, Richarson' are highly cherished. 'The boy Who Dare to Rock by Paul Lichter' is nice - always look at the discography. 'The Elvis Atlas by Gray & Osbourne' is interesting, 'Silver Screen Icon by Steve Templeton' is beautiful to name a few.
Last train to Memphis by peter gurnick second name is wrong but its 2 books there great ,have the elvis and me book ,I'd say elvis by the Memphis mafia is good and the book by George Klein elvis best man at his wedding and great friends good read .
@@ChefDez no but I might get it, I think you'll agree that there are so many out there. But with so many to choose from, Geller? I really don't think it'll be that good. I've read a lot of them but my god there are always more.
@@ChefDez I saw a hardback copy at a used bookstore but I ended up buying four about four or five other Elvis books, I'm just starting Sonny's right now.

Thanks for watching. You will really enjoy Linda Thompson's book, and a re-read of Elvis & Me is definitely worth it.

@@mozfonky I understand, but me, personally I liked it a lot. It comes from a different perspective than the rest.
