Genuinely curious as someone who has 2 window pcs, would i be better off getting a windows laptop or a mac book (For editing/Schoolng/work) usage ?
Awsome vid keep it up
im a small youtuber and use capcut to edit my videos. do you think an M2 16gb air would be ok. currently using my 2020 air with 8gb and the fans and overheating is almost inevitable now
Good review. Please note that small business owners are professionals who use laptops for a living. But the M3 Air might fit their needs. However, they may want to upgrade memory and storage or consider the M3 Pro.
I have the M1 MacBook Air and it is just perfect for all my needs. I don’t need an M2, and M3, or an M4, or an M5 or six or seven or eight or nine or 10. The M1 is just fantastic.
congrats
What's the color of that m3 bro?
Thank you for a great video!! I have been trying to decide between the M2 and M3 as I'm starting nursing school this fall. I currently have a 2016 MacBook Air, and although it still works fine, thanks to your video, I think I'll be upgrading to the M2 Air since it's a little cheaper and also sounds like an amazing laptop that I'm sure will last me through the next two years of school.
If you are using an M1, I think it's not necessary to upgrade to the M3, but if you use older models like me using a macbook air 2013, worth upgrading to M3!
is that space black on air?
No- MacPro color with Pro and Max chips
@@davidlaunderville5695 thanks
M1 air is still amazing I still like the design
There is no doubt that the best ultrabooks are the MB Air M3 and MB Pro 14 M3. That is unquestionable. Obviously people may prefer Windows and are willing to sacrifice performance and efficiency to stay in Windows. Also, Macs are premium so there are cheaper ultrabooks from budget to mid-range. But for the demographic the MacBooks are unmatched.
Common sense when buying is needed. If you are a light casual user, then save money and get the base model. My MB Pro 13 M1 is 3.5 years-old and has not missed a beat. But if you are a pro user then the MB Air is not for you unless you are only doing pro work every now and then, but you are best with 16GB of RAM and maybe a larger SSD.
Yo, should I buy the MBA M3 with 8GB RAM only? 'Cause you have to pay about 500$ more for the 16GB version in my country. I make music (FL Studio) and do some VERY simple Photoshop and video editing.
get a macbook pro m3 pro

My issue is that these computers are supposed to have the fastest processors but the UI feels so slow compared to Windows.
Really? That is not my experience. It is super slick especially if you kill the animations (Reduce Motion setting).
@@andyH_England Still not as snappy as windows. Also in Microsoft Word, it doesn't have print to PDF. It's hard to flatten a pdf. Takes too many steps. It's just not as efficient.
@@technician006 I have been using Convert to PDF on Microsoft Word for over a decade and never have had any issues. Not sure why you would.
I just bought the M2 air for $849. The m3 is $150 more, should I return it and go for the m3?
🤦🏻♂️
personally, I would. if its only $150 difference. the M2 base 256 has slower storage speed while the M3base 256 has faster storage speed which will make a difference. Also, the M3 does have faster performance (which in my case won't make a bif difference but hey, its there along with the storage speed bump 😊) If I'm spending 850 i would spend a bit more to future proof. i mean, when you buy a macbook you probably wont upgrade for atleast couple years. This is just my thought :) It really is up to you though. Good luck!
I literally just brought my M2 for the same price but now I’m getting the M3 tomorrow mainly cause of the speeds
Can I take the M1 Bro!
Was coming to ask that?😊
Check on .35-.40 you have an error.
I hate it when that happens. One of the plugs-in I used glitched out during the exporting of the video
