Gloo is my favorite glue stick. It comes in different types. " permanent" repositionable ect. I really like the Tuzu . I bought the Green one in a fine nib. It works reliably and gives you the sailor nib at a moe affortable price then most of there other options. I hold my pen in a traditional way so I havent tried to adjust it. I dont need anymore ink but I really really like that top one you swatched. I dont think I have anything like it in my collection.
Your discount has made the difference on a couple recent purchases I made. Especially on a more-expensive-than-a-Tuzu type pen, your code can bring the price down to a justifiable amount. And I do like Atlas’ cards. I may have to use my collection to make a Sugar-Turtle style journal. I have nine Lamys (Lammies?) inked up with Van Dieman’s Solar Systems inks. The great thing about Lamy nibs is that they’re affordable and so easy to swap out without having to worry about the ink in the chamber. “Use only for writing purposes”: other options - plant stake; swapping secret messages with spies (TR paper is thin enough to slide a folded note up in the barrel around the converter. One’s contact would merely have to ask to borrow one’s pen, “forget” to return it, and slip it into her/his/other pronoun of choice pocket); squirting (if one happens to be Cslvin) Susie Perkins with ink as a grade-school sign of affection; tattooing; assassinations (best with F or EF nibs); a VERY small flask of brandy; chew/teething toy; fidget toy (I think the original Lammies [Lamys?] were intended to be taken apart and reassembled by bored school children, and the Tuzu’s adjustability offers all sorts of spinning fun); stir stick; hair ornament; tourniquet tightener… Isn’t one of the selling points of the Tuzu is that it’s made out of recycled plastics? There are inks I’d like to get, but I’m worried about what the heat might do to it. We sucked the “honey” out of honeysuckle flowers, too. I like those inks. The video didn’t feel long to me. That was a great haul. Thanks for sharing it with us!
Really nice inks. I just ordered three more bottles of Sailor Shikiori inks : Kasasagi, Kazakiribane and Suberakashi. I’m see-sawing about getting the Tuzu. I don’t even remotely need another pen right now, after just spending a heap buying another Stipula and a Tibaldi in early June. But I might just buy the Tuzu anyway. The green or the grey. I wish they offered a steel music nib.
Hi Mike- Thanks for the unboxing! Great pens and inks. I’m definitely going to pick-up the Tuzu and give it a try. Have a fantastic weekend.
I think the Tuzu is pretty neat.

I think this is the permanent Gloo, and it’s working well. It doesn’t seem to come loose once it’s set.
Enjoy the Tuzu! Is the fine nib super fine?
I’m also a fan of Gloo! And I struggle with which end to open every time. 😂

I saw someone call the pink Lamy Safari “Strawberry Daiquiri” and the name just stuck! Pina Colada and Strawberry Daiquiri”. 😂
That would have been a good pairing.
I love the random things they write on the atlas cards. I hope they get wierder. That would be fun.
Yeah, stay weird, Atlas Crew!
Something from Plotter was on the expensive side, I'm shocked! I always use a well known and behaved ink in all new pens, namely Sailor Black.
Right? Mind-blowing!
Lamy Safari Pina Colada should have been named as 'Barbie Safari'
Ha! That would be some expensive licensing!
Now that I think about it, the Pina colada Lamy Safari really does have a Barbie vibe. Astute observation.
I got the pina colada and put a 1.1 stub on it. It’s been super fun so far!
Noice.
I hate my Sailor Tuzu so much it's also a broad nib in green you're welcome to have it lol.
What is it you hate about it??
@inkdependence it's too wide for me and it seems I have a fairly standard grip so no need to be able to adjust it.
