Hm, three generations of Knights that all did something with the fine arts. Poet, painter and a writer.
Three generations having nightmares. Gabriel's grandfather passing away when his dad was eight, Gabriel's dad dying when HE was eight. HAS to be a coincidence!

No wonder Gabriel does not seem ready to settle down 😅

*Grandma Knight:* "Don't be foolish! I'm older than the hills!"
    *Sven Groot*: "Unlikely."
    GOLD!!! :D

Such a pleasant, soothing music at the grandmother's house. Though of course the Roland has something to do with it as well :)

This is one of my favorite series of yours, to come back to, all three of them.

Wait a minute. I just noticed something. Gabriel's grandmother first says that Gabriel's grandfather died when Gabriel's father was eight years old, but later she says that Gabriel's grandfather pushed Gabriel's father into going to law school. LOL WUT.
"Hey kid, you need to start think about your career. We're going out to check out some law schools this weekend. You'll make good money as a lawyer."
"But daddy, I wanna play with my trucks!"

As long as people have a strong connection and good chemistry, how quickly they marry has little to do with marriage longevity. As for grandkids, most people married half that time would have grandkids; nothing surprising there.

I realize this is an 8yo comment, but I looked for the video you mentioned. I couldn't find it, which is disappointing-- if it's anything like their King's Quest V and VI videos it must be amazing.

It's so weird hearing Tim Curry's voice in a video game like this.

Well why wouldn't Gabriel's grandmother know something about voodoo?
Since voodoo is a big thing in Louisiana, and she probably lived in New Orleans for ages, she might have picked up something.
Also, since his grandfather liked creepy poems and his father painted creepy paintings, I would not be surprised if his granny was a voodoo priestess :D

Ah the trope about asking things the protagonist should already be familiar with.

Ah, and i'm back to continuing this LP. I must say, it's odd hearing different voices for Gabriel and Grace, and it's odd seeing sprites and not chroma keyed inserts of real people.

hmm the thing that's a bit odd is that the people in the game pronounce it like "New OrLEENS", when actually people from New Orleans don't usually pronounce it like that

Sakura4anime25 It depends on the mother tongue of the person. A fully French person may pronounce "Orleans" as the French Or-lee-ahns
