    I have a 77 F100 that I've had since 2002. It's been sitting for 10 years with only a few start ups here and there. I've been watching alot of vids lately that have resparked my interest in it again. I like them wheels and tires you have on yours! Thanks for the vid!

      Thanks! I appreciate that. Unfortunately it's been sitting with no progress again. Planning to finally get back to it again next week. So hopefully I'll be posting a new video on it soon.

    FYI Max Advanced Brakes are located in Markham Ontario and their elite brake kits are a fraction the price of Powerstop garbage and they are made right here in Canada with better quality grey iron for their drilled and slotted rotors. When I do brakes for people I only use Max brakes or I don't do them

    Nice. I’m started on a frame off rebuilt on my 79 F150 Styleside Custom Pickup. Currently down to frame. Where did u get the upper and lower arm assembly?

    • @ddcgarage5482
      @ddcgarage5482  Рік тому

      I built the uppers. But most parts for the swap can be ordered through outcast auto

    I've seen many swaps but the one thing that caught my eye are the lower control arm brackets. Those are sick. Are those available or did you fab those as well?

    • @ddcgarage5482
      @ddcgarage5482  2 роки тому

      Purchased the lower control arm brackets from outcastautoworks.com. check them out they have alot of great parts for the vic swaps. Thanks!

    Ddc garage did you have to do any cutting to fit the crowd vic front end

    • @ddcgarage5482
      @ddcgarage5482  3 роки тому

      Yes. You have to cut out the original cross member and cut off the shock towers so you have just the bare frame rails left.

    What kit did you use? I noticed the blocks were different than I have seen before and the control arm brackets were the first bolt ons that I have ever seen!

    • @ddcgarage5482
      @ddcgarage5482  Рік тому

      I built the upper brackets but the control arm brackets I picked up from Outcast Autoworks. Check them out they will have everything you need for the swap.

    • @ddcgarage5482
      @ddcgarage5482  Рік тому

      Not really sure about the p71 interceptor. I've never really looked Into it much. The wheels are aodhan wheels and I think I payed around $250 each or so. It was a while ago.

    What did you use on those trailing arms? Was that fab or they just bolt right up to oem

    • @ddcgarage5482
      @ddcgarage5482  Рік тому

      Purchased the brackets from outcast auto works. You have to drill a few holes but then they just bolt right up.

    Measuring of the Firewall ? The cab is rubber mounted, you need a fixed position..

    • @ddcgarage5482
      @ddcgarage5482  2 роки тому

      Yea. I agree. I actually measured from 3 or 4 places to make sure everything was square.

    doing the same to my 78 f100 ranger. how much did it drop and and what size tire and rim you running?

    • @ddcgarage5482
      @ddcgarage5482  3 роки тому

      Not sure of the exact measurements as far as how low it will be yet. I think it will be about 5in. In front and 7 or 8 in the back. The rims are 18x9.5 in front and 18x10.5 in back with 295×4018 and 255x45×18 tires.

    • @ddcgarage5482

      Rack and pinion steering and independent suspension. Easy to install coilovers and bolts to the frame with minimal fab work.
