Don’t buy Carly for BMW. It requires you to input your exact location in order to work. This gives them the ability to turn off your service and your adapter. Free software is available. Don’t get ripped off by the Carly scam. So many people have damaged their cars and bricked the computer.

You should get a laptop, good obd 2 cable, INPA ( software for reading codes and sensors ) NCS expert ( software for coding ). Dont use android apps to code your bmw...My friend cooked his lightmodule from e91 using android/bleutooth stuff. And always hook up your battery charger while coding your bmw :)

I took my car to the BMW and I have a subwoofers in my car and never had any problems with my car I was just going to get an oil change. Now, I also used to work there so i know everyone. I get back to pick up my car and they said my car is smoking and they also had to jump start it. So the TLDR is they spilled coolant all over my engine bay and played with my subwoofers and turned them all the way up which i never do because it is a demanding system and then I had to replace my battery. They also said i needed new rotors when they were brand new so idk. Its crazy what they do!
I literally had coolant hose pop off at the dealership after they worked on it and they tried to get me to pay for it. No drips or leaks before...Long story short warranty covered new radiator, coolant hoses, coolant reservoir and water pump too. Paid nothing in the end. EDIT-> all i went for was coolant top off lol and all this crap happened 1 minute after i picked up the car after the coolant "top off" I asked for security footage and the supervisor told me there would be no charge

Do me a favour mate I'm in the UK I got a 2010 320i new battery cables new battery new alternator but still I have to start the car and switch it off 3 to 10 times before the alternator sends charge to the battery otherwise when I start it it's running at 11 volts but after the restart it charges at 13.5 volts Thanks
