Master of your world of sound ... lots of buttons/knobs .. yet you make it so easy to follow .. Mega beefy reverbs .. lush .. comprehensive delivery of jiving vibes ... lightening bolt effects .. . Cheers .. and thanks !
Pre ordered a microcosm about 2/12 weeks ago, been checking my email for a tracking number damn near everyday even though it’s not even shipping til august haha
Sounds great! What do you do with the minibrute 2s back there? I have one as well! I run it through a delay pedal and sp404a and it really makes it unbelievable
@@LiamKillen oh man, you'll love it! It makes for great, gritty bass. The Steiner filter definitely has its own flavor. Being able to morph in and out wave shapes with the faders is nice. If you add a delay and reverb, (like I said I have a dedicated delay pedal and I also like to put it through the sp404 for the reverb, maybe more delay, vinyl sim...I'm sure the microcosm would make it sound unreal) it will produce really nice melodies or ambient melodies and leads. The sequencer is so easy it's crazy. You don't have to get nuts with the semi-modular stuff if you don't want. It does very well as just a subtractive mono synth but if you are looking to get weird, the patch bay can get nuts. I just put my whole studio into my mpc one as the brain and I'm running the minibrute from the mpc one midi. I could talk to ya all about it lol don't sleep on it! It's a really enjoyable, gritty synth, that is easy to learn and get a quick workflow. It'll also give you muscle memory for making patches and remembering them.
Holla!

Thanks for watching! ☀️
Oh I like the pattern you're playing when setting up the MIDI CC
Why thank you 😊
I love my Microcosm. It's a beautiful little magic box.
You really just can’t go wrong with it
Such an awesome combo! But also, like, good job with putting the music together. This is a great demo of the Microcosm.
Thanks Josh! It’s so juicy. now you keep makin’ that music ❤️
Great video mate! So looking forward to get my hands on the Microcosm 😍
Yes! I saw you released a video today too! Will make sure to check it out
Midi mapping through CCs is so powerful and combined with LFOs... let's say there are possibilities.
To say the least 😏
Thank you very much. Helped me a lot.
Anytime

Yeah they’re backed up and real short on supplies. Hold on my friend you’re in for a MAJOR treat!
Glad I found your channel. Do you know if it’s possible to use the microcosm w Ableton?
There’s probably a way to sync it but I’m just not aware of how.
@@LiamKillen I found a YT vid on it. Thanks.

Honestly it’s one I haven’t explored all that much!

Thanks for this!!!! Is there any way to quantize the looper itself to external midi?
I’m sure there’s a way
Great video as always. What frame are you using for your top down view for video?
That’s the canon RP with a sigma lense
@@LiamKillen Sorry, I meant the framework holding your camera in place.
Oh! I’m using a mic stand with an adaptor lol. Works for me lol
Salut Liam, question for you. Is there a case that you can recommend that would fit the microcosm nicely? Merci mon ami
Analog Cases TR-6S case is pretty much perfect
God bless you
God bless us all
I want one soo bad
which one!? lol
i was thinking of buying a microcosm, but i buy shit and dont use it. Would prolly be another one of them
Maybe- but i literally use it in all of my set ups
@@LiamKillen glad to hear it Liam 🙂
It’s my problem, I use stuff for like a month and then leave it
I bought a silver bullet from louder than liftoff, that’s a piece of hardware that I stick with
I think trying different combinations is always inspiring
“Meedee” mapping? But great video otherwise 😉
