I’m a dentist. We all sit and lean over. Lower back pain is the number one reason dentists retire. I Kesey over like every dentist ab my back doesn’t hurt. I don’t know why it doesn’t hurst. I’m happy it doesn’t hurt. With the coming of covid, I didn’t work for a year. I’m in my 36th year of working. I’m near sighted. Every dentist is near sighted. Last week, I woke up, with back pain , on my lower left side. I’m not over weight. I’ve never been over weight. I woke up with the pain. I didn’t lift anything heavy. I took Mortin, and the didn’t help me enough. When I had goute, Motrin was a godsend. Noe it does nothing. I’m a week into this pain. I’m gonna try to fix myself, doing what the video says. We f I don’t see any improvement, then I’ll be forced to see a chiropractor or a physical therapist

For me, I injured my lower back using poor form, to recover I did a ton of research online that I'll share here that worked for me. First I looked up videos on stretches, proper sleeping techniques (I own a body pillow so I slept on my side with that between my legs). I drank protein shakes and I ate a good amount of anti inflammatory foods that you're able to go online and find a list for those. I started off using ice packs, avoiding sitting down for more than 20 minutes and a few days later I switch to using both a hot bath / Ice pack. I also was walking circles in my house with the TV on for entertainment or a book on tape to stay mobile rather than laying down all day. I drank plenty of liquids to stay hydrated, mainly water. I also took ibuprofen to reduce the pain and to help me sleep I took melatonin. There is also a large list of oils online I found that I used to help my back heal quicker and take away some pain. So this is what I did, first day I was bed bound, today is day 4 and I'm already back at my computer, taking a shower and cooking my dinner. I'm not a doctor so I would always recommend to do your own research based on what I did. I hope everybody who knows somebody or who is injured will heal as quickly as possible, take care and have a wonderful day / life.

    Thanks for the video!
I went to pick up a shuttle from playing badminton and when I stood back up, I could barely walk! Physio told me to go to the hospital, they told me if it was nerve I'd have relieved myself, and slipped disc doesn't usually occur from such activity. I was told 2-6 weeks recovery.
After being sent home, I found stretching was incredible. Lunges the easiest as I couldn't get on the floor. I also ate high protein and made sure I got up to slowly walk around the house at least every hour. I iced it after the first day as I didn't know on the day. I then switched to heat as this guy explains.
I recovered to a functional amount after three days, but mainly walking. By one week I was driving again and find it a bit easier to get about bending my knees to get low.
Just under two weeks I felt fine, and had my first cross trainer gym session and it was great.
I'm now 2.5 weeks and I'm virtually fine. I have a dull ache in my lower back, but that's it.
I hope this helped someone and have them hope I didn't have. Ask me any questions and hopefully I'll see them and reply. Thanks to this guy 🙏. Keep safe all.

After traction at the chiropractor, I felt great, and went to the gym. Two days later, I couldn't move, with debilitating pain. A pulled muscle is worse than a minor strain. Cold packs daily and alternating heat therapy has helped. Im 6 days in, starting to get better. I've alternated limonent and arnica gel. Some walking, but very limited first few days.

Tweaked my back at work over a month ago and it healed up after a few days by itself then I injured it again a few weeks later, then a few weeks later playing basketball and a few weeks later just last night playing with my dog and it’s the worse it’s ever been. Hard to walk and the slightest movement in the wrong way can hurt pretty bad. After I heal up I’m definitely going to start stretching again and working out.

Old L5/S1 here. Too many overtime hours has aggravated it again. I should've paid attention as getting up from a squatted position had gotten more and more difficult, but I ignored the warning signs. Then I hit a nerve doing housework -- that was the straw that broke the camel's back, so to speak. After two days decompression + exercises (without twisting), I feel like I'm on the right track. Just to try them out, I did the stretching exercises for the mid-back from another of your vids, and that helped too! As a caregiver, I work over beds and my mid-back was pulling in ways I didn't notice. I feel looser now. I've had back trouble off and on and I just kind of live with it. I've never recovered so fast before. The decompression ones are AMAZING. Ready to incorporate these exercises into my life. Back strengthening is next, after I recover. Thank you SpineCare! I'll be making a donation. I've watched the equivalent of about 10 sessions! :)

I’m here to find help relief from the pain. I was hit by a car backing out of her driveway 3 weeks ago.
I landed pretty hard on my back and I felt an instant pain.
After my trip to the ER every test came back good, no broken bones.
Still having pain and discomfort, can’t sleep in my bed most nights, recliner is the only thing that helps.
Getting an MRI done next week.
I am walking to help keep the circulation going.

Hi, thanks for your support! I was sitting on the end of a low couch that had a covered board underneath. I got my socks on and twisted down to the left to get my shoes. I set my right leg out to brace myself and my leg slipped on the shinny tile floor. In an instant my body flew to the left and hit on the board underneath. OOUCH! It has been more than week now and still hurts . I can wan but sneezing or moving in some positions I still get a very sharp pain in my left side of my butt! It is not sore on the outside, the sharp pain comes from deep. Feels like a strained muscle. What is the best thing to do and not do.? Thanks again for being there!

Thank you so much for your videos! I fell on my stairs last Monday and have been suffering. I have three kids (a 5 and 3 year old and a 7 month old that I am nursing). Thanks to discovering your videos a couple of days ago, I am finally seeing some improvement. Your videos also helped me realize that I received some poor advice from the ER nurse to stop ice after 24 hours "because it decreases the blood flow to the area." So, I have been alternating heat and ice and it is slowly improving.
My biggest issue is that I am unable to lay down because it is too painful to sit back up. I am having to sleep sitting up so that I can feed my baby in the night and then be able to get out of bed in the morning but the pain is still bad then.
Any advice on how to sleep if sitting up is too painful?
    Again, thank you!

I usually squat 405+ very easily. Three days ago I was squatting 155LBS which is super light for me. on my third set my back blew out. INTENSE PAIN for three days and I’m still in bed 😪
