I also want to travel on the BMT as there are a lot of leftover CityRail 'L7' signs (stations like Valley Heights, Lawson, Lapstone, and Mount Victoria) and I want to see a V Set In the snow.
Sadly the CityRail signs were beginning to be removed in December 2019 and were removed by May. I have been up to see some relatives. I do have some photos of them (besides Mt Victoria) on my Flickr if you're interested
Stephen Shephard The middle two cars were converted driving trailers. These cars tend to have the DCT code in the carriage number, as well as DET9216 on set V2.
As well as the other comments replying to you, they were also converted to Trailer cars as when they were Driving Trailers, they gave an 'uncomfortable kick' while departing a station. As the drivers put it.
I love trains I'm a big fan off trains
My Favourite station of all-time!!!
Holy Crap Great Film Work At This Station. I Like The Longer Vlogs.
Every time I wanted to see a V-set a Tangara had to come past and cover it up!
Nice vlog! I'm hoping to go to Katoomba during the holidays.

Hey Phil, What's with the v set at roughly 7.15? There are 4 control motor carriages hooked up together.
They are retired v set cars, the are passenger cars
The two in the middle used to be driving trailers, they were converted to trailers in the early 2000s
