*KENNY WILL REMEMBER THAT*
And a good thing too
Yes he will
LETS START A CHAIN
🥵
He actually doesn’t and in season 2 swears at Ben like as if that confrontation never happened
can we all agree ben's voice actor did great job of those emotions while he's reading the dialogue?
Facts
Hell yes
Yes
So true
Yeah I'll always remember how much he stood up for himself to Kenny but yet he still died after that which is sad
I can't blame Kenny for not understanding him to be honest, cause I felt the same about Ben until I got this scene. Kenny and many of us didn't even realize what this kid's been through
Same
Ye a lot of people hated ben ,he deserved his hate but not wish him to die too cause of what he did, kenny has a fierce personality too ,we got to see that in season 2,kenny disliked him and yeah but at the final got his good arc at the final and kenny forgived him and still tried to save him, that s wby i love kenny
@@spiridonrobert16 Kenny truly cared about people. And he always made it his business to keep himself as well as others safe. Despite having lost his own family as well as his dearest friend (Lee of course)He even tolerated Jane despite her trash talking him near the end of season two. Until she made that fatal mistake of having pulled that stupid prank of losing AJ. (If you allowed him to take her out as Clementine) and that prank didn’t even sit well with the latter. That quote that he made about him being a Christian man when he agreed to helping Lee(especially after he revealed his bite)find Clementine near the end of this season wasn’t really too far off.
Luckily there are those who simpathies with others, I mean Ben thought he could get the bastards of their backs, in all honesty Ben did right, it's just that Kenny failed to see that
Yeah exactly
Top 10 moments when Shaggy got mad.
😭💀
Kenney almost made him use 1 percent of his power
No bro please stop I'm cracking my jaw right now 🤣
If only he had used .01% of his power, the walkers wouldn't exist anymore
Hahahahahaha
And it was at this moment when Kenny realized he had gone too far
Fr ben"fuck you kenny " kenny face...i exagerated
Nah Kenny was completely justified. Ben killed his family, if I were playing kenny Ben would’ve been dead
@@icecoldcousin3617
Facts plus he lied about stealing the medicine back at the motel and carly ended up dead because of him
@@icecoldcousin3617 ye i mean bandits attacked us because of him
@@icecoldcousin3617 nah it was Lilly who got Carly killed by assuming it was her sure Ben indirectly got duck killed but it was all Lilly’s fault Carly died
Hot take: I actually did not mind Ben
I agree. I liked that he was just a teen who was trying his best. Yeah he messed up but every one does. Lee and Kenny killed Larry so what’s the difference. Ben didn’t mean to hurt any one but should have spoken up
Same
@@gucci-stephano his “teenage mess up” cost lives. He was a rat
@@dieselrichardson9055 Kenny also got other people killed. Back on Hershel’s farm, when looking for supplies, no one was correct. I’m not saying what he did was right, but he was still just a kid.
I liked him and saved him straight away, I hated his death
I was nice to ben always, until HE PUT MY CLEM AT RISK AND IF IT WASNT FOR CHUCK the walkers would've got her. i was nice to him after that but i did confront him about it.
Yeah lol
She literally could’ve just followed him💀💀💀
@@eyeballzplays1060 I agree
@@eyeballzplays1060 the poor girl was fucking paralyzed with fear
He made Lily shoot Carly dead 😡
Ben is correct going at Kenny like that,at least Kenny got to say goodbye.
💯
@@DomCantrell-fp8vn but Kenny shouldnt of had to, Ben did the deal with the bandits and it caused the death of Kenny's family
@@Levismeevi i would disagree Ben’s deal with the bandits was good with keeping them away since they no longer got supplies from the ranch
Ben should have just told somebody and made it as a group agreement to make that deal instead of hiding it from everyone.
His deal was working until Lee took their latest shipment, where the bandits took it as them not keeping up their half.
If Ben never made that deal; the bandits would have gotten to them much sooner and either killed them all or stole everything.
If Lee never took that paper bag, the bandits would’ve never attacked that day. Ben was wrong to take their stuff behind lily’s back but he had good intentions.
@@Levismeevi no it literally saved them more time, remember the bandits randomly stopped harassing and attacking them and that's due to ben slipping them supplies. We can agree that the only mistake he made was not telling lee and Lilly about him slipping supplies but I can understand why he was scared to tell because before he met lee and their group those same bandits attacked his school group and they made him watch one of his classmates get 🍇ed to death so say what you want about ben but him slipping supplies to the bandits was the best thing he could've done because something worse could've happened to them .
Probably the most underrated scene in the first season, if not the whole series. You get to finally understand his point of view after everyone essentially blaming him for how everything went downhill, and it makes you feel bad for him. The delivery of his lines was spectacular as well!
This is one reason why I think episode 5 feels more complete with Ben around
Lmao for not even telling anyone about the bandits he did cause it
i didnt get to experience this as i dropped him in the bell tower
@@riahb9789 Broooo youre crashing out Cruel :D
@@sonicartzldesignerclan5763 i hated ben sm he was so annoying, tbh i felt bad after i dropped him but like 💀 he needed to GO
I Can Say That Ben Has Had Enough From Being Kind With Everyone
Yeah he made mistakes so often, but never actually defended his actions and just accepted everything the others said. He broke his silence in this scene
@@Proxio he was just a poor defenceless boy maybe if they showed him how to shoot for example it would be great so the others were guilty as well
@@kasilav I have to agree on that. He needed guidance, but the group didn't give him enough of that
Kind? He legit left clem with a bunch of walkers lol
@@legendaryfrolox6285 cause he was scared more than Clem lol. He didn't leave her on purpose, he is just weak
Absolutely stunning performance of voice acting here. This entire game is a masterclass in it, really.
Peak game 🔥🔥
In season 2 if that happens, The walker would somehow find a way to still kill clementine😭
The game has a lot of scenes where if you wanted to kill a character by doing nothing, You die instead
@@kimbaldun I KNOOW RIGHT.. do u know the scene at the museum idk where clementine refuses to enter through the open thing to open the door so bonnie uses her arm instead and a walker grabs her, and if we dont help her, the walker goes for our arm instead of hers, that is so ???
You guys ever wonder if Ben's little sister was someone from season 4?
woahhh good point!
He looks kinda similar to Violet so maybe
damn didn't thought of that !
@@Sanguicat now That you mention it they are really similar...
Like it's possible honestly-
Kenny's face after Ben cursed at him: 🤬😯
"But atleast you had them to lose"
Hmmmmmm not gonna lie, Kenny can't say anything after that
Really? If the dude that got my family killed acted as if it was a good thing i had them to lose, he'll at best lose his teeth
@@guifire9747 ...what?
You having your family in the first place IS a good thing.
What kind of twisted mental gymnastics do you have to do to think that's NOT a good thing, jesus christ 😂
@@gitghetto No? Seeing your wife kill herself in front of you and your son slowly turn is infinitely worse than not having seen them at all, are you actually ok?
Ben had so much potential as a character. The writers at Telltale just did him dirty.
No his character is right the way it is.
And his character was important for episode 4 as a whole.
Ben screwed up majorly I’m the previous episode and he has only kept screwing up this episode he is a burden to the group.
Then the episode spends a large majority building up Crawford as this big bag community of people that kill off people coldly and callously for being burdens.
And when Ben faces up to his wrong doings he is condemned by most of your group and your group is on the verge of repeating crawfords mistakes that lead to their downfall.
And the decision is ultimate left with lee at the end.
Do you rise above Crawford and let him live and continue carrying his burden.
Or do you become Crawford and let him drop.
They should’ve kept him around and made him a badass later on.
I think so too they took out everybody of s1 except clem
So i rlly hoped in s2 instead of jane molly would be the other part to kenny like you have to decide of 2 characters you know and thought theyre gone.
And also i hoped ben would like get lost and and after he did later would pay clem back in helping her and maybe get aj back in s3 or something i think that would be well made.
@@sludge-factory i still wish he was a potential guardian for Clem. He could take the "Older Brotherly figure" that they tried to put Luke in. Ben forcing himself to man up to care for Clem after promising he would to Lee would have been an interesting story to tell.
@@Somewhat-Sinister There's actually a good fanfic on AO3 called "You and I'll be Safe and Sound" that explores that idea.
Kenny gets too much shit. Him and Ben are probably the realist characters in this first game
You know, when he says “I don’t need to hear this shit right now” in season 2, I understand now.
Honestly ben gets all my respect in this scene.
Chill!?! Chill?! Bandits chill! Here’s some pills! Vernon Chill! Here’s our fucking boat! Lol
That extra dialogue if you leave Ben and Kenny at the house😂
That’s hilarious😂
I wish it was a meme
@@Kumo5980 what extra dialogue?
@@Ramalangadingdang the one above me or I should have said alternative dialogue exchange😂
@@Kumo5980 see that’s what I mean, your choices in the game do have some impact
Why did me seeing the words Chill and Bandits make me think of the parents from Bluey?
Besides Lee, Clem and Kenny.
Ben was absolutely the 4th most important character in season 1. I really got to care about him.
Same, I don’t cry at games without an active effort to do so on my part anymore. But when Ben dies I always at least get that little jaw quiver and shaky breathing.
this is why saving ben was the right choice, without that this scene doesnt happen
I have mixed feelings about this part but I feel bad for Ben because ether way falls to his death basically
Teltale: your choices don’t matter
I really shocked when he started talk ,I blame him 😂
Ben was always fucking up lol
Sad but I did feel bad for him when I heard this
@@DomTheBomb yeah me too
I still hate Ben for multiple reasons but this scene broke me. “Your family is gone but at least you had them to loose.” That really hit me and I felt some empathy for him. Even though I hated him for the actions he did he majority of the time did it in the right mind set he didn’t want any of that to happen. All in all second least favorite character but Rest In Peace Ben
did you drop him in Crawford
@@lincolntopez dropping Ben in Crawford is the only actual evil option in the game. There is no legitimate reason other than sociopathy.
@@Hewasnumber1doesn't matter he dies later anyways
@@hsd287 But his later death is a more satisfying ending to Kenny’s season one character arc. Additionally, dropping Ben is just a morally reprehensible thing to do. Whether he dies later or not, it’s better to be a good person and not have a teenager’s blood on your hands.
I knew that Ben would eventually tell Kenny something. After he did I found myself actually truly understanding where he came from also. Even though he always had good intentions.
Ben has gone through worse than Kenny and hes younger and tbh hes better than Arvo, Gabe, and Tenn, as he atleast tries to help unlike then who makes it worse for others
ten is fucking stupid. also how is ten at a bad kid school when he was like 4 when the zombies started
when you try to bring Ben with you and not the others
he can actually save Lee from falling to his death
i like gabe
nah ben didnt gone trought worse than kenny but he did had a rough time
@@Bithe_Get I think Ben had it just as bad in a different way. At least at this point of the story. Kenny witnessed his family die, which is messed up, but Ben had a point about Kenny having them to lose. Not knowing what happened to your family is just as bad in my opinion because you'll never get that closure.
underrated ben..
I thought kenny was about to cry
same
In the end he cared about him otherwise he wouldn't leave him there when the balcony feel
I mean he almost told him he’s sorry if they didn’t get approached by walkers
@@Kenny-ep2nf he was like your son in the end wasn't he? He was like your elder stupid son
The way his voice breaks that last sentence. Great fUcking acting
Honestly, I felt bad for Ben. Yes, Kenny had his reasons to hate Ben, there's no doubt about that and I don't blame him for it. But in the end, Ben was just a kid. He made a stupid mistake and a heavy price was paid but what he did must've haunted him every second after he found out about Duck. Ben messed up, but the weight of not knowing his own family's fate ... whew, it was his own form of torture
If you're older than 13 being young isnt an excuse, ben was useless and all he ever did was just make things worse
@@christhelostsoul9927do you honestly expect a character that is anywhere between 15-18 to know how to make every wise decision in a freaking apocalypse? In normal circumstances yes you should be wise enough to make proper decisions but the end of the world is not that.

This was the moment when the NPC expressed emotions.
Love it when games do that.
Ben really deserved better. He was put in so many difficult situations and none of it changed his fate towards the end, he had little to no one who cared about him and he did the best he could.
Shaggy has had enough
😂
*zoinks! Like there's fucken zombies man!*
I felt bad for dropping him just to see what would happen with the story
He would have died later anyways
@@hsd287 but still, clementine get mad at me after that
The motivational speaker goes to ben
Don't forget that Ben's mistake was made out of concern for another. The bandits said they were holding one of Ben's friends hostage, and they probably had a name or something to prove it. Ben wanted to protect his friend and the group, but by the time he saw through the deception, it was too late.
Shaggy is using only a franction of his power
😂
The only time Ben grew a pair
This is legit like the only time I sided against Kenny Ben lashing out at him like that was 100% justified
Kinda mad Ben never got a redemption
He tried at least ,kenny forgived him even if he disliked him he tried to save him
It's an unaddressed trauma that most survivors in this situation go through, wondering what happens to your loved ones. You don't know, and chances are you never will. It's possible they're dead and it's easier to tell yourself that. But as long as you don't know, a tiny hope that they're still alive will continue to eat at you, until you get a closure that will likely never come.
And people still think Ben was a little shit
I respect Ben for this scene!
Ben has been through a lot of shit and what he said to Kenny was real deep.... RIP Ben..
Imo I feel like losing your family before you can even reunite with them is less painful than having to witness their death with your own eye
Good point
Not knowing what happened to them is kinda f up too tbh
I love when shy silent types have those moments when they get all angry and raged at someone annoying them.
It always seems so badass
Truly 💯
honestly I might remember this scene forever as it really touched me to think about it from Ben's point of view
i literally said out loud “woah, ben” and saw it as an option lmao
You know what made me not like Ben was when him and Clementine were surrounded by walkers and he just ran away and left her he just ran like a bitch
Yeah that was no Bueno
I love how even Kenny was a bit taken aback by Ben
"Im okay.. Im okay, im okay." - Ben
"At least you had them to lose." Goes hard for no reason. RIP Ben, you did your best man.
One of the few best scenes ben had 😂
💯🔥
I feel bad for Ben and kenny
Same ):
Love that for ben
Glad he could stand up for himself
I let him go at the armory
I respect your decision!
The only time Ben pissed me off is when he left clem and chuck saved her and the fact he was dealing with the bandits
Facts that was easily one of his worst moments!
This comment section has brought every person with a Clementine profile picture here ive never seen one till today
🫡
This is the *only* time I don't side with Kenny, saving Ben from Crawford is a huge character arc for both Ben and Kenny and I love this confrontation they have.
That "No!" Was perfromed so well
🔥💯
And now Ben is reunited with his family 🥺🥺
Well we don't even know if there dead or not,we have no idea and I don't think we'll ever know.
I know Kenny is angry at Ben for what he did for trading supplies to bandits to try to keep them off their backs when he didn’t except Duck to get bit and Katjaa commits suicide to face her son’s death. Ben is a kid. I forgive him.
Respect 🫡
I seen Ben get pushed around I am happy he standing up for himself👍
Ben is personally in my top 5 characters in season 1
old comment but tbh one of my least favourites his voice is annoying, he couldve got clem killed and he did get duck and kennys wife killed
episode 5 Ben is good but he was more annoying imo for most the game
I have to say, I really do feel for Shaggy. He never got to see his family and friends and doesn't know whether they're alive or dead. I wish Kenny or Lee would've given him a Scooby Snack 😭
"FUCK YOU KENNY" bro was speaking for the audience with that one 🗣️🗣️

Yeah feel bad for him at times
@@DomTheBomb😔
Ben’s voice actor is crazy good
Here especially 🔥
Glad Shaggy stood up to kenny
I was so proud of Ben for this. He's my favorite Character
I like Ben, I was like him when I was a teenager. Insecure, torn, making the wrong decisions when all I wanted to do was to please everyone.. he is not a bad person. He's just a teen in a zombie apocalypse. I always wondered, before this scene, what happened to his family. I was so worried about Ben. His death was sad, unfortunately i rarely saw someone being sad when he died :/
I felt a lot of respect for Ben after this scene
When I got the chance to save Ben or drop him at Crawford, I instantly dropped him💀
Yeah fk that I did too!
That's for hiding the truth from lily that causes carley's stupid death

Ben: NO!
😂
😂😂
DombTheBomb, what Ben tells to Kenny straight up to his face. Like, part of me feels sorry for Ben. Because he just want to help.
I agree despite his mistakes I feel for him a bit as well
Kenny is just trying to toughen ben up
I guess Ben reminded him of duck
Always liked ben. Reminds me of Eugene from the show
Ben was such a realistic and good character. He tried to help at all times. Even at the motor inn, he bought some time for the group coz one way or another, the bandits woulda attacked them. Even if he told the group about giving supplies, the consequences wouldn't have been changed much compared to the choice about telling the group as a fight would have broke out and when there is a fight, people die or the group would have tried to escape the motor inn but the bandits still would have found them as they had an eye on them and came to collect supplies frequently. Man, I just don't get it, Why Ben. Why people hate him more than he should be. I know he got good people dead, but he was just a teen. He went through hell and nobody was there to guide him and yeah of course he is much better than the characters stated in comment.
This was a very sad scene.
actually the most emotional scene for me. i chose carley for the first game, so i was the only one who helped ben. i felt so shitty when he was pushed around. i was actually crying when he died like that.
I wish Ben made it to season 2, I wanted to see him grow into a more capable survivor. Instead he died in an ally
Easily the BEST time to choose the "..." dialogue option, hands down.
PewDiePie + Shaggy = Ben
😂
Legit spare Ben so that Kenny can have a more satisfying redemption by the end- I don’t give a shit if it doesn’t mesh well with season 2 this is canon
poor ben
In youtuber's playthroughs i used to hate ben a lot, Like A LOT for being useless and putting the group in danger, I played it myself and realized he just tried to do what he thinks is logical and actually tried helping the group, Ben didn't deserve to die but atleast i got them all to help lee find clementine
Never thought this guy has balls
The nicest people are the most dangerous. When they get pushed to a limit all hell will break loose.

Really the only thing that I hated about Ben was when he stupidly removed that axe from the BARRICADED DOOR.
When ben says he's sorry for his family kenny looks at him disgusted
Ben deserved better
Guys I know it’s a game but all of you did saw how Ben lost his friend and saw his teacher turning into a zombie so you guys did know that Ben suffered as well
Yeah it must of been horrible for this poor fella, I remember the scene when his friend was being approached by walkers and Lee had to hold him back from seeing this ugly sight
season 1 was the best season and perfect game
💯
Yeah Ben had it pretty rough like everybody else, it was good seeing him vent out a bit
hi Kenny ! and yup, I agree, poor kid !
that's the reason why I save ben because when I'm playing this, one thing that I think already is Ben also has Family just like them. but I never expected he will now stand for himself. I understand both Kenny and Ben's situations.
Very controversial, Ben is an underrated twdg character
My hate for Ben was decreased after this scene😥
