I always choose to leave Wellington with Kenny, not just for AJ's sake but because Kenny and Clementine are family and you never leave family behind,i mean after all Clem and Kenny have known each other since the start of it all.
"I wanted to prove that Kenny is a bad guy by pretending to get a baby killed in order to make him mad. Normal people don't get protective and angry over babies dying!" -big brain Jane.
She doesn't care about the baby or Clem, she was essentially just manipulating Clem to try and justify othering/removing/killing Kenny. Whereas Kenny was as hotheaded as he was x10000 less petty & humble, dude was trying his best and already a wounded person inside in ways most people will never be wounded. Kenny's a good dude, Jane's just a sociopath.
@@YouKnowImOnMyPeriodYah Jane isn't stupid, she's actually very intelligent. She knows she's full of it but she's trying to manipulate a child, a little girl no less so she resorts to getting an emotional reaction from both Kenny's anger and Clem seeing Kenny go berserk. She saw an opportunity to manipulate both and did it. She doesn't care about anyone not even children, Sarah's death is full proof of that. Not to mention she's clearly sharp with her tongue manipulating people left and right from Troy to Luke. Interestingly sociopaths are known to be very sexual people they've a rush from it but they don't necessarily care about the people they sleep with. So yeah, she's not stupid just a full on sociopath.
I can't believe Clem doesn't tell AJ about Kenny at all in season 4... Ofcourse Lee is awesome and it's great to see him referenced so much, but Kenny actually knew AJ and took care of him. No mention at all..
I wish they recorded more dialogues form Clementine. "You put the baby in danger, made me kill the father figure in my life when you know I already lost 2, just to prove a point!?"
Speaks volumes about Kenny when you decide to leave him. He doesn’t try to manipulate or guilt-trip Clem to make her change her mind. He knows he’s dangerous and respects her decision. Unlike Jane that says shit like “I won’t make it on my own ;-;” after manipulating everyone into thinking AJ was dead
I thought Wellington was a safe place for aj and clem considering they were both kids and also we dont know what happened to kenny after clem and aj went to Wellington
I mean from a realistic standpoint, he should have. Leaving a little girl on her own in the middle of nowhere with a baby to walk off into the snowstorm? What is this writing? It literally just occurred to me how bad the writing actually is. Still love the series though.
@@SpoonLegend If he forced himself it would only cause unnecessary nerves on everyone, thus lowering their ability to maintain as calm as it would be possible in such a situation. Plus he’s wounded. Imagine you’re Clem, and you believe this volatile dude could turn on you and the baby any second he wanted if it fit his needs. You just witnessed him kill someone because he was angry, spitting some “I was protecting us” excuse. Are you gonna take the risk of letting him accompany you when you already told him off? When you’ve seen he can make up excuses to justify his otherwise selfish actions (like he does in Season 1)? Especially since he’s wounded? Great, it’s some aggressive, anger issues dude AND you need to babysit him along with the baby since he got his belly slashed. It’s reasonable enough for Clem to decide to leave him. As it’s reasonable for Kenny to respect that. He knows he’s been selfish around Clem a lot, he knows he’s quick to anger when things don’t go his way and he’s depressed as fuck after losing his 2nd family and killing one of his companions out of a heated moment, all because he though Jane let AJ die to prove a point. Then AJ’s alive and he realizes he just killed Jane when he could’ve proved her wrong (that he ain’t got anger issues and isn’t a danger to anyone). In this state of mind, it’s VERY believable that he thinks he’s a liability to Clem and AJ. Plus he also knows he’s wounded, which makes him think he’ll slow them down, becoming a further liability in the group. If anything’s atrocious writing it’s Jane’s character. Who the fuck locks a baby in a car to prove a fucking point lol. I mean, yeah she’s shown to be cold and there’s a possibility she could be that unhinged but it’s asinine, to say the least
@@aldmjr buddy. I’m not reading that. I know Jane was a bad character. I’m literally speaking from a realistic standpoint that’s all. That part was not realistic at all.
Kenny absolutely loved Clem, when he said he would never hurt her, he really meant it. If you sat with him at the dinner, he will mention how he felt very proud of Clem seeing "his girl all grown up." If you tell him he hurt your feelings when he lashed out at you over Sarita, he will say that he didn't mean it, and that he loves and you sees you (Clem) as "light in darkness" but because he had to find strength to kill Sarita when she turns, he had to "stay in that darkness awhile longer". Not to mention that he willingly sacrifices himself in season 3 to help you escape, or he pleads with Wellington guards to let you in, because he wants some sense of normal life for you and AJ. Jane on the other hand kills herself and leaves 10-11 year old girl with baby all alone in world full of monsters, both undead and human. Thanks. Jane.
Not at all wrong about Jane. Point blank. Lol. buT. The interesting thing with Kenny, though, and something to at least acknowledge, is that Kenny would never *intentionally* hurt her, but he absolutely has. This whole scene is the worst of it where he's literally shoved Clementine out of the way at multiple points (Jane too, of course) when, really, all Clementine wanted was for them to stop fighting because she needed them. Like, she was just shot. But then you go throughout this season where there are multiple points that Kenny has contributed to the trauma she endured during this season. And then back to season one. Even though Kenny looked out for his family then, 100%, he was not the best guy to be around. He was irritable with Larry and Lilly around, and while it was understandable, that is still not a good environment for a kid like Clementine to be around. Given that Clementine is more observant than Duck. Lol. And then the salt-lick which her scream right after that says enough. So while I don't think you're wrong, I also think the argument that Kenny never did hurt Clementine removes so much complexity to both his character and his relationship with her as an uncle/father figure. The care he *intends* for Clementine means that much more when you realize that his intention is in direct opposition to his actions and how they've affected her.
@@slsthewriter1299 That's a good point. Ever since season 1, Kenny is shown to be a deeply caring but flawed man. He wants to protect his family and do things his way, but escalates situations sometimes by getting too heated and stubborn. It can be tough to love Kenny-- he can act like a jerk sometimes and in season 2 becomes more unstable after all the trauma he endured-- but he also saved Lee and Clem's lives on numerous occasions, even if it meant putting himself in danger. That's why I think Kenny's character is so great, he's not a one dimensional perfect hero, nor an evil, selfish villain. He's a well-meaning dad who went through a ton of shit, simply put.
I like Kenny more in season 3 he died a hero’s death protecting clem and Aj while. Jane just killed her self and left clem and Aj to fend for them selves.
Because he's like a wounded hound trying his best to be a loveable dog but his wounds keep splattering blood with how much he tries. Kenny's genuine, and is vicious because he's wounded no different than a cornered dog. That's why you feel bad watching him suffer.
I get attached to Kenny because he's knew Clem more than anyone in the group since Lee left. That reunion brought a tear to my eye. No way I'm gonna separate these two again.
But Sarita soon started to hate him, especially after his needless fatal beat down of Carver, when the guy was already doomed. If you walk outside, she says that’s not her Kenny anymore.
Louis Twd her last words are: That’s not the same Kenny I know in there. You can tell if you walk away from Carver’s death. She was going to hate him, if she lasted much longer. If she saw him treat Arvo so cruelly, she’d walk out on him for good.
Really it’s all about him and his annoying, stupid obsession with “family”, that’s all he cares about, himself and his own stupid “family”. Hate him more than any other character in the walking dead. Hope he’s burning forever in hell.
Louis Twd well, the reason I think that he’s shaming people for saving Jane is because I feel like he’s implying that they aren’t “real ones”. “Only Real Ones Kept Kenny Alive”, this is what makes me think he’s implying that people that kept Jane alive aren’t “real ones” based on the word choice of this comment, which I assumed was some minor insult.
See Kenny died a honorable death but Jane took the easy way out she was no protector leaving Clem several times and eventually leaves Clem alone forever while Kenny stays with Clem since the very beginning and for that he’s one of my the best walking dead characters alone
I really wish they kept Kenny alive. They missed a massive opportunity when they brought back Lilly in the fourth season. The lost potential really ticks me off.
If you stay at Wellington than i think kenny would live because when he crashed through a window is because he took of his seat belt to get AJ's blanket for him
“You and 21% of players kept Kenny alive” y’all have no idea how disappointed I was... Edit: damnn thanks for the likes yall, also happy new year I wish the best for everyone
I always choose to let Kenny Kill Jane and to stay with him because i feel that if Clementine should be with anyone in the end then it should be with someone that she's known since the beginning of it all (true Kenny still dies in season 3 but still)
Bruh literally look at the outcomes if u keep either alive: -if Kenny lives, he sacrifices himself to buy Clem time to escape after he’s paralyzed from their car accident, a super selfless, and super Kenny, act. -if Jane survives, she offs herself without any thought of the consequences of doing so, leaving Clem and AJ to fend for themselves, all just because she couldn’t deal with the thought of being pregnant. Y’all can have your opinions, but Kenny, tho flawed, has always looked out for his family first. Nuff said
So im going to chamge this comment up because people cant stick with an opinion apparently I see killing both jane and kenny are hard thinga to do, and its emotional during kenny lmao. Heres a few reasons that may help your choice Jane was possibly one of the best survivalists you would be able to run into during the apocalypse. She manages to teach clem what Kenny was afraid of her learning. Clementine wouldn't have been able to defend herself if it weren't for Jane. Jane lacked the emotion to care much for clem but she truly wanted her to survive. Plus Jane through the apocalypse had been smart.. But Kenny had been a true dad. He put everyone else before him, and he had lost his mind when he had gotten tricked that AJ had been killed. [Which thank God he wasnt]. Kenny had the true strength and fatherly ambitions to keep people alive. In season 3, he sacrificed himself [if you went with him at the end of s2] for clementine to get AJ out of the car and for them to run. Plus kenny is kenny. He's taught clem how to drive, he was a large aspect of clementine's life. He had been a true caring guy, even when he was dying right in front of clems very eyes. But, with even all of that. Kenny was getting old. He had simply couldn't keep up with that energy, even after all of that, he wasn't fit to take care of clem anymore. During the car crash in New frontier, he had become paralyzed, he was defenseless. Plus his temper and rage is what made him dangerous to many, which Jane proved. Kenny hadn't thought of many good ideas. Also last perk of killing him would to put him out of his misery. He wanted to die all along, but when the moment came, he was truly scared. So ye. Jane. Where do I start. Ok. So. Jane was fucking crazy, she had no empathy for others. She was manipulative, psychotic, and just simply over herself. She puts herself before others. The only time she saw her mistake was when she was pregnant with Luke's baby, seeing how careless she was she wanted to hang herself so that way the low food rations that were there wouldn't be consumed as fast. But even after that, clem was left alone with her, to possibly die. But clem and aj managed to survive to this point. Ok hopefully this helped a bit. So stop with the hate? :>
At first I was hesitant to let Kenny kill Jane. I really started liking her. But then I reflected on everything... Jane and Luke did it, while everyone else was fighting for their lives. Jane brought up all the people Kenny lost, and she didn't care what happened to AJ. She manipulated Kenny into attacking her. When the end came around, the only right choice was to let Kenny kill her. Kenny deserved so much better. He lost his family and friends, he was the ONLY one besides Clem that truly cares about the wellbeing of AJ. And even after all that, if you saved him, he sacrifices his own survival so you can live at Wellington. Kenny's a real one
@@charlottecornish8216 apparently if you choose to let Jane live, she just kills herself anyway in front of the safe haven when she finds out she can't enter. Something like that
Kenny was there since literally day one why would you risk it all for Jane who lied about killing AJ. Kenny Lee Luke and Clem have always been the best characters❤️
Even after Kenny literally gets shot by Clem, he still loves her unconditionally and spends his last moments supporting and loving her. HOW COULD YOU PICK JANE OVER KENNY?! She pushed a broken man over the edge with lying about a fucking baby dying, ON PURPOSE! She abandons Clem by killing herself too, that's what you are rewarded with for choosing her
@@horrorfan117 Usefulness? I know it's a game but damn😅 he has a relationship with Clem, they have been through a lot and he is always there for her, unlike Jane
@@justlilly7653 At least Jane passed off useful survival tips before offing herself. If you go with Kenny all he seems to teach you is how to drive an attention magnet who's fuel supply is going to go bad in a few month tops. And to top it all off the only reason he dies in S3 if you go with him in S2 is because he didn't care enough to buckle a goddamned seatbelt. I don't care if he was literally Clem's Father. He was an impulsive asshole with a death wish who pushed away everyone he didn't consider family. I'm just glad he either got separated or died before he could drag Clem and AJ down with him.
That shows you his true character and what he really cared about. His entire purpose of living in the second season after he lost Sarita was for Clementine and to protect and care for both Clem and AJ. IMO Jane doing what she did… she was asking for trouble. I mean what did she think that would happen. She abandons AJ acting as if he had died… of course Kenny is gonna be pissed and want to kill a potential baby killer at the time, such a stupid thing to do…
After I shot Kenny in my first time playing, I immediatly regreted it when he started saying I did the right thing. Jane is the worst. Kenny is awesome.
@@Sundowner13 stfu Jane was not an idiot or bully and never fucked around she just wanted to live and do things to survive. You’d do the same so let Kenny die idgaf
But isn’t it really a big relief after dealing with his stupid, senseless raging for so long? It proves just how Badass Clementine is. If you shoot a raging old dog, you’re a true Badass.
@@jackleighton1566 he was going through a lot since his family died. you really can't blame him for that. if you're family died in front of your eyes, you probably would've acted the same way
_ Mysticaltoonz_ but does that really justify being a big bully towards everyone who’s not Clem and AJ, saying racist words, overreacting so much, going overboard with punishments, not listening to anyone else’s opinions, beating up a little weasel, throwing Clem to the floor? Certainly not.
*Clementine will remember that* *Clementine will remember that* *Clementine will remember that* *Clementine will remember that* If you choose to kill Kenny then you obviously forgotten something..
I feel that keeping Kenny alive, and leaving him is the best option for Kenny himself. Sure, he’ll be alone for a bit, but that also means he wouldn’t have died in that car crash. He may have lived way longer, and found some people.
@@Steezealways that’s why i just did it in my playthrough. he’d been through so much and begged clem to just take the baby into wellington and be safe. i decided to fufill his wish and that way i can pretend hes alive
They were both right about eachother but difference is at least Kenny knew what was wrong with him and still tried his best to help Clementine without following her
Kenny: *has trauma and depression, doing the best he can and overreacted when AJ was in danger* Jane: *doesn’t care about anyone other than herself, stole someone’s baby* Clem: *this is debatable..*
Kenny didn't even overreact. Imagine being with Jane, who constantly talks about how they should kill the baby because he's "some useless mouth to feed", having to trust her with the baby for 5 minutes and she immediately has "an accident" and he dies. Any reasonable person would immediately assume she killed the baby and would lash out at her violently, which she immediately took advantage of by pulling a knife out and insulting Kenny.
@@PhilscooperI would've LOVED to get that after finding out Aj was alive. Can you imagine that? "So you put Aj at risk and got my friend killed, just to prove a point?!" "It was a stupid plan...! Honestly, saving Jane it's pretty stupid, I mean: Jane just lied about killing AJ because she hate Kenny and just wanted to be alone with Clem, even in her ending she is afraid of being alone. But Kenny always want the best for Clem, even leaving her with the only thing he cares about, AJ, giving the best for both of them, even if that means he have to be alone forever and walking in a world that it's just a complete mess. Kenny it's the best without discussion
kenny was in a downward spiral.. i shot kenny because jane knows what it's like to survive alone as a woman.. in the end, kenny was reckless and would have put us all in danger
But Jane only wanted all of them to be safe Kenny was taking a huge risk of running off to Wellington even when there were so many walkers and Clem was badly injured
@Someone 333 Jane may be wrong about the suicide but atleast at this point her decision of going back to Howes was better than going off to Wellington and risking all their lives
It’s better to let Jane die cause eventually Kenny sacrifices himself to save Clem But if you chose to save Jane SHE EVENTUALLY KILLS HERSELF BECAUSE SHE WAS PREGNANT
@Omid bro he literally tried to make up for his mistakes then and even spoke up about him being in the wrong that makes him more of a good guy than a bad guy he even tried to sacrifice himself to save ben
Anyone who’s played season one knows kenny has been through alot.. The fact that people killed him for going crazy about losing another kid is crazy to me
I get kenny isnt the most emotionally stable of people, but hes a lot more reliable than most hes more human that most of the humans left, and i feel like with him getting older and clem + AJ being around will help that idea of calming down for his own sake and others, even if thats in a world that ended
@@CirillaofRivia What is the difference between going with Kenny Vs going with Jane when it comes to Gabe's death? Is she more indifferent if she chooses Jane?

@@420catson oh I listened to the story alright, about 3 times at this point and I always kept getting bad vibes from Kenny as early as episode 2 of season 1. I suppose him getting really pissed off in episode 3 is completely understandable, but overall he just started going downhill from season 2. When he first appeared in season 2 I felt a sort of pressure passively coming out of him to make Clementine stay at the skii resort. People keep saying Jane is manipulative, but I think people are forgetting/not noticing this about Kenny as well. Personally if I was Clem in the situation at the lodge I'd feel really bad after some guilt tripping from Kenny about staying, and would probably leave everyone else behind for this one man. Now of course he didn't mean harm by that, at least not as much harm as Jane could've done with leaving a baby alone out in the cold, and obviously it didn't get to actually happen since Carver showed up, but for me it's still worth to take into consideration. Imo his spiralling was irredeemable, but sort of good in a characterization way: he's, out of all the characters, probably the most normal person just trying to get by in this apocalypse, and it broke him. I think it fits his character arc really well to go out the way he does: completely broken, with nothing left and even Clementine sorta in a way betraying him, by putting him to eternal rest from all of this. To me this also applies to Jane, I think keeping her alive gives her a good, worthy enough send off, instead of abruptly ending her story with no real relevance to the character arc. And I think that this way, when you keep Jane alive, both her and Kenny get a good (in a narrative way) end, even though both are assholes by the end and I'd rather just get the option to kill the fucking russian so this maybe wouldn't happen in the first place
Letting Kenny kill Jane was and will be always the best choice and going with Kenny also, I mean all of that could of been avoided if she just said AJ was alive but she never liked Kenny and just wanted an excuse to fight with him, she's stupid and on top of that, Kenny is ma boii since season 1 ,so why would I trust anyone else? But looking back at all of this really shows you how clem got messed up and she turned out to be a scumbag...well that's if you make her one lol but in this season is where clem really got mentally strong and you would see the results of that in season 3 , and her introduction in season 3 was badass, holding a shotty at Javier's head and all you here is , "Don't f-ing move" I think she cursed tho lol can't remember that well, in season 3 she killed hella people in that one lol but I love how baby reached the end of season 2 right when season 4 ep.3 is about to come out, that's some good timing baby, keep up the great work as always
@@DbonnRP but that still doesn't mean you gotta shoot someone if their dead on the inside, try and help that person and that's what clem did, if you played season 3 you would know the bond they had
She was at her worst in Season 3, but I understood why. After all she went through. But in Season 4 she calmed down. But I do think Season 3 was her at her worst. She was kind of bitchy in that game. (But like I said, I understood why.)
@Jovan Jevremović Jane lost her sister and her lover Luke and she stayed kinda normal. She was smart and good at finding solutions. It's a lot better option than brutal killer Kenny
The best ending imo is the wellington ending bc in s3, in the flashback, kenny dies if u go with him. But if u go to wellington, he could probably be alive
TWD 3 proves how useless Jane is. Kenny teaches Clementine how to drive before dying. Jane kills herself over being pregnant. That's all you need to know.
Game: you killed Kenny well this is what you get *Jane dies* You let Jane die well now Kenny dies You left them both well guess what you have four fingers now
I honestly cried so hard when Kenny got shot by Clem - like dang. Been with him since the beginning. Even though he’s so hurt inside , he really cares for the kiddos. Unlike Jane. I don’t like her at all. Didn’t like her that much since the beginning either way.
I really appreciate this channel for going through the whole game again and the choices. This would’ve taken ages to edit and finish. You also just earned a subscriber
"Let's see if Kenny will get mad if I pretend I killed AJ" Kenny tries to kill her and in response she says "I knew you would" no shit Jane he thinks you killed a baby and then you started slashing at him with a bowie knife
I knew Jane was bad news from the sight of her, i could just feel it. I ended up getting to Wellington, but they wouldn't let all 3 of us in (Due to spacing and medical supplies and such i believe), And Kenny insisted that AJ & Clem get in, it was heartbreaking to me. He was always making sure they were safe, he did the thing any parent would do. "This is your chance, for you and this boy. I just don't trust myself to keep the two of you safe. Not anymore. Please, I'm begging you, stay here, where it's safe. Where you two will have a chance...Its the only way, for both of you...When he's grown you tell him about his mommy and his daddy and all the people who kept him safe, he deserves to know...Now you take care of Alvin here, you live a good life...Don't waste this..Now, I'm gonna go...before...one of us changes their mind. Because she's pregnant and he was thinking keeping her alive but because Jane almost killed AJ and hates baby's and almost kills them Kenny thought she was gonna have an abortion which she was so he killed her and cause he loves children which everyone should

The ending where Kenny kills Jane and Clem kills Kenny has got to be the most traumatizing for Clementine. Like holy hell, the silence afterwards. I would never pick this ending.
After Lee its Kenny who took care of clementine the most and also Kenny was right about that Rusky he really was a threat to the group because he shot clementine after all.
I will forever choose kenny because number 1 Kenny has been here since season 1 and he has saved lee so many times and lee has saved him and done him so many favors Clementine knows him and knows what hes been through and has seen he would do anything to protect her and even AJ and don't forget back in season 1 lee has the choice to say Clementine should stick with Kenny and even if you didn't choose that kenny in the end would never leave you and even would die to protect you because he treats you as his family even if you betray him he will still not hold it against you not to mention he might have been broken so many times but in the end he got up thanks to lee and Clementine and even in season 3 he will do anything to protect Clementine and AJ meanwhile Jane first tells Rebecca how a kid should not be raised in this world (say that to AJ now) and even became a hypocrite by hooking up with luke tried to let Clementine leave sarah to prove a point and even didn't want to save her the second time said the people who didn't want to keep going should get what they want then sticks the baby in the car to prove a point and fight kenny even though kenny wouldn't have had done anything if she didn't do it and then she says she will protect you but guess what in season 3 she just leaves you because she can't be responsible of her actions and hangs herself even though she knew she would be pregnant anyways and its thanks to her the zombies go sarah everything she has done was to prove a point and in the end lets them die number 1 thanks to her Sarah died number 2 thanks to her kenny died and finally number 3 the baby could've died and even left Clementine and AJ to survive for themselves kenny was right she was always selfish and only cared about herself
Kenny is literally my favourite character. He suffered so, so, so much through his life. (that we've all seen) It makes him so relatable with loss and endurance after loss. Especially in such a damned world. He's someone I'd have at my back anytime. How he powered through all of that I don't know. I wouldn't be able to, that's for sure. Also fuck the way they killed him off in season 3. That was bullshit and I hated it.
I love how Kenny accepts that Clementine leaves him Even he saw how ruthlesss he was, and he knows that Clem won't be safe around him That's why i love Kenny's development during whole story He turned from being asshole who cares only about his family and if you're 100% with him he's 100% with ya To father figure for Clem when Lee died If you leave him he accepts it If you go with him, begs you to stay in Wellington, just to keep Clementine and AJ safe, so Lee's sacrifice and Rebecca's death will not be in Vain And he even tells Clementine tk take AJ and run away while he will turn and be a Walker
Watching Kenny die is so freaking hard, almost as hard as Lee’s. He’s scared of dying, but still welcomes it and knows he’s lost it, putting Clementine in danger. I’ve already seen this so many times, but I still cry when I hear him say, “I’m scared”
Leaving Kenny is probably the best outcome. He knows he can’t trust himself but he gives his last moments for Clem to say she’s strong and special and he still truly cares for her well being. Such an awesome character. I really hope Kenny finds peace. This is my head canon now
I just wanna say that he is a Man. He heard what she said and went straight to the point. No bargaining, no begging. Said what was necessary, said his goodbyes, even calmed the lil guy at the end.
Oh man, you can hear the genuine fear in Kenny's voice at the beginning. He just instantly knew Jane would put AJ in harm's way. His dialogue with Clem while he's dying is literally painful for me to listen to. He admits his wrongdoings and tells her not to apologize for her actions and reasures her that she did the right thing. He knows that he was rash and violent. If he lives, it's a huge fucking wakeup call for him. He KNOWS he scared Clem and realizes that if he tried to figure out what happened first, he wouldn't have had to kill Jane. He even said that he would've stopped at any point if Jane confessed that AJ was fine. His first thought was pure anger because he thought some woman he didn't trust just murdered a baby, which riled up his paternal instincts. His second thought was "if she killed a baby, what is she going to do to Clementine?" The thought of Jane harming Clem is what made him so adamant about killing her. In his mind, he was convinced she hurt a child, and he was not going to let her hurt another child, even if it killed him. After he kills her, he literally lays down like he's ready to die, and says to just go ahead and kill him when Clem raises her gun to him. He only finds the will to live again whenever he hears AJ crying. In season 3, he never acts like this again, even if Clem backtalks him. He completely snaps out of his recklessness and goes into "Savior Kenny" mode. There's a possibility that Clem could've got Kenny to safety and distracted the walkers to save AJ, but he didn't even want to take the chance that something would happen to either of them, and valued their lives more than his own. He literally pushes Clem away so he can offer himself up as walker bait and yells at her to run away with AJ and not look back. His death might've been poorly written, but it was true to his character. He sacrificed himself for people he cared about. He didn't "go out fighting" in the traditional sense, but he made sure he was going to save two people he loved, even though he knew it would kill him. He never hesitates on it.
Also, I really like how he doesn't try to manipulate Clementine into staying with him the way Jane does. Even though he killed her to protect her, he doesn't use that as a reason that she should stay. Of course, at first he's a little in shock, and kind of breaks down into "please don't leave me" but he's able to pull himself back together and respect Clem's decision. He knows how capable she is and trusts her survivability and judgement. Jane pulls the victim card and says "but I did this for you!" and acts like she wasn't the one antagonizing Kenny. The "I didn't think he'd go this far" is a lie because she tells Clem in advance to stay out of it and when Kenny says he's going to kill her she replies "I knew you would." I may not like Jane, but I do acknowledge that she loved Clem in her own way. She just wasn't completely stable (obviously neither was Kenny) and did something fucked up. I just personally can't get past the manipulation, and when I played for the first time, I genuinely believed she left AJ out to die.
Either way, even if that’s true, I’ll never forgive Kenny for how he acted throughout season 2. Never ever, ever!!!! Don’t blame the rest of the group for wanting to abandon him. His wife and child would HATE him for everything he did. Especially beating Arvo!! Hope he’s rotting in hell after how insane he acted.
@@jackleighton1566 to be fair he was actually right about Arvo and he had every right to beat him Arvo tried getting the group killed, accused Clem of robbing him even when you choose not to he still accused you to, antagonize the group and was the reason why the war started in the first place, he shot a child even when Clem was unarmed and lowered her weapons I even partially blame him for Luke's death remember he was the reason why they started a war which led Luke to getting shot in the leg if I were Kenny I would've done worst than beating the shit out of him

You have 69 like
I thought Wellington was a safe place for aj and clem considering they were both kids and also we dont know what happened to kenny after clem and aj went to Wellington

So im going to chamge this comment up because people cant stick with an opinion apparently
I see killing both jane and kenny are hard thinga to do, and its emotional during kenny lmao. Heres a few reasons that may help your choice
Jane was possibly one of the best survivalists you would be able to run into during the apocalypse.

When the end came around, the only right choice was to let Kenny kill her. Kenny deserved so much better. @@theguy5077 tell me you didnt listen to the story without telling me
@@420catson oh I listened to the story alright, about 3 times at this point and I always kept getting bad vibes from Kenny as early as episode 2 of season 1.
Sorry for the essay :p
@@theguy5077 you got me fucked up if you think im reading all that. congratulations you wasted your time
Letting Kenny kill Jane was and will be always the best choice and going with Kenny also, I mean all of that could of been avoided if she just said AJ was alive but she never liked Kenny and just wanted an excuse to fight with him, she's stupid and on top of that, Kenny is ma boii since season 1 ,so why would I trust anyone else? But looking back at all of this really shows you how clem got messed up and she turned out to be a scumbag...well that's if you make her one lol but in this season is where clem really got mentally strong and you would see the results of that in season 3 , and her introduction in season 3 was badass, holding a shotty at Javier's head and all you here is , "Don't f-ing move" I think she cursed tho lol can't remember that well, in season 3 she killed hella people in that one lol but I love how baby reached the end of season 2 right when season 4 ep.3 is about to come out, that's some good timing baby, keep up the great work as always

I will forever choose kenny because number 1 Kenny has been here since season 1 and he has saved lee so many times and lee has saved him and done him so many favors Clementine knows him and knows what hes been through and has seen he would do anything to protect her and even AJ and don't forget back in season 1 lee has the choice to say Clementine should stick with Kenny and even if you didn't choose that kenny in the end would never leave you and even would die to protect you because he treats you as his family even if you betray him he will still not hold it against you not to mention he might have been broken so many times but in the end he got up thanks to lee and Clementine and even in season 3 he will do anything to protect Clementine and AJ meanwhile
Jane first tells Rebecca how a kid should not be raised in this world (say that to AJ now) and even became a hypocrite by hooking up with luke tried to let Clementine leave sarah to prove a point and even didn't want to save her the second time said the people who didn't want to keep going should get what they want then sticks the baby in the car to prove a point and fight kenny even though kenny wouldn't have had done anything if she didn't do it and then she says she will protect you but guess what in season 3 she just leaves you because she can't be responsible of her actions and hangs herself even though she knew she would be pregnant anyways and its thanks to her the zombies go sarah everything she has done was to prove a point and in the end lets them die number 1 thanks to her Sarah died number 2 thanks to her kenny died and finally number 3 the baby could've died and even left Clementine and AJ to survive for themselves kenny was right she was always selfish and only cared about herself

Kenny is literally my favourite character. He suffered so, so, so much through his life. (that we've all seen) It makes him so relatable with loss and endurance after loss. Watching Kenny die is so freaking hard, almost as hard as Lee’s. He’s scared of dying, but still welcomes it and knows he’s lost it, putting Clementine in danger. I’ve already seen this so many times, but I still cry when I hear him say, “I’m scared”
Thats why no one should do that
Leaving Kenny is probably the best outcome. He knows he can’t trust himself but he gives his last moments for Clem to say she’s strong and special and he still truly cares for her well being. Such an awesome character. I really hope Kenny finds peace. This is my head canon now
Nah, fuck Kenny.
Kenny is the best, why would you leave him
I just wanna say that he is a Man. He heard what she said and went straight to the point. No bargaining, no begging. Said what was necessary, said his goodbyes, even calmed the lil guy at the end.
Kenny was loving to Clementine all the way til the end, even when she shot him, may he Rest In Peace
The "I didn't think he'd go this far" is a lie because she tells Clem in advance to stay out of it and when Kenny says he's going to kill her she replies "I knew you would."
I may not like Jane, but I do acknowledge that she loved Clem in her own way.
