This song is from the early 70's. It makes fun of the city of Somerville, Mass. It's pretty funny, especially if you grew up there. I made this video to get this song out. Check it out!!
If you look close enough you may see me in that ice skating pic of LINCOLN park when they would flood A diamond for the winter skaters. My first time on skates was probably near or after World War 2. Those were memorable times.
I remember the uproar your song caused back in the day! I first heard it on the old WCAS and found it wildly funny and affectionate. I'm just sorry you felt the need to change "a sub shop" to "a hilltop." Damn curmudgeons.

It's the Prospect Hill Tower, but residents of Somerville in the 40's and 50's called it the High Tower.........
