How is diversion / deflection supposed to work if there aren't the services? All JVP seems to be able to do is say words that sound nice - lots of politically correct buzz words. Meanwhile, the city of Portland rots, businesses close, its economy sinks, the tax base weakens, and we remain stuck in a doom loop like other woke-n-broke cities where well-meaning policy prescriptions continue to backfire.
