Well, lots of different reasons. One is most people's peak is 40 hz to 50hz . Bass Amps will be making more power at a higher bass frequency on just about all test I've ran.. Another reason is some amps the lowest frequency response they have is 40 hz . The ole duck sauce amps frequency response is 8hz -180 hz
