Thanks for making the video! I just bought one and couldn't for the life of me figure out how to put it together (no instructions anymore in August 2022) Thank you!
I have had one for two months but I had a hard time using the sprays because I'm missing the part that holds the batteries. Maybe now I can go back to showing off with the kids. 😊 Thank you, for your clear instructions, Grumpy.
Very useful video. I have had mine for about a month, but I used it for the first time today after watching your vudeo. It is hand, but i see your point about the ongoing cost of running it. It mopped very well, the floor is sparkling, and it smells great. It's a shame the pads are not washable.
To those complaining about not being able to use their own solution/ the bottle can't be opened, just drill the bottle at the buttom and inject your own solution with a syringe and seal the hole with a tape (or any other way you can think of). This won't lick as the mop will be left standing upright anyway. Issue resolved and case closed.
Just got one today. I felt a right idiot not knowing which way up for the disposable pads. Enclosed instructions did not say. Then I found you! You are brilliant. I’m happy now. BIG thank you oh grumpy one. I’m definitely coming back for a browse through your reviews.
Thanks for the guide. V useful but on mine the bottle of cleaning solution just won’t click in to place so no fluid is released and the bottle falls out of the mechanism. Entirely possible I’m being a bit daft so any suggestions would be appreciated q
I thought it would do something fancier for having a battery pack... I have a spray mop atm but the bottle for it leaks now so I just have to use a empty spray bottle solution atm and spray myself as I go as opposed to it coming from the mop and was looking for another. Thought this might be worth it but nah. I’d rather use my reusable washable micro fibre cloth one.
I don’t think floor could be clean without water at all 😆 It’s just covering dirt with nice smell solution. I was ready to get one but no thanks I’m happy I’ve found your review
How do you clean your electronics then? With water or with a “nice smell solution” lol? It’s definitely possible to clean up properly with this mop, but everyone has their own preferences
I've had one of these before yes it is an expensive way but I know the solution is a good solution and the pads u throw away instead of keep washing a mop head in the washing machine but I like it so have purchased another one for my new house.
Good presentation. What a pity they didn’t provide a screw cap for the bottle, and reusable pad. Would have been far more economical to run, and more environmentally friendly!
I'm pressing the button and it is still not working the batteries are inserted correctly and it is making a whirring noise when I press the button but still no solution I have been trying for age's grrr
Right so watched this video after weeks of not being able to remember where I had put the batteries the first time I put it together. Then after wondering what the hell why cant I get the purple bit out.., turns out someone (husband or kids? Who knows) had taken that part out and it was in a basket out of sight 🤦🏻♀️ it took me WAY too long to realise. Im supposed to be the techy one in this house 😂
You would have thought this basic, most simplest mop ever would actually WORK.. I assembled, put the batteries in, bottle in. Yet when I press the button... NOTHING. No solution comes out, it doesn't even make a sound. I'm bloody FUMING. What exactly could I have NOT done during the set-up?!
Please make sure you have your facts right. I bought this mop purely on the basis that you said the bottle could be refilled (I wanted to use vegan and toxic free floor cleaner fluid) but it cannot be refilled. I have wasted £30 of my hard earned money. Thanks.

Smart, TFS 👌
It works great using mines right now..Thank you for showing me how to put in the bottle..
I was thinking of buying this but what you said about the increasing costs, I'm no going to. Thanks for the video big man. It helped me out👍👍

100% Agree with you.
Thanks for watching!
Thanks, I was thinking of getting one of these, but I am having a rethink. Must find something on one of those spray mops.
Thanks! Was struggling to work it after throwing the box away. All working now 👍
I was just about to ask why the hell do you need the batteries for? :) thank you for the review, you saved me from an unnecessary buy…
Glad you found the video useful.
I had the same problem. Thanks again Grumpy.
Can you use multi surface cleaner in this flash power mop
I don’t think floor could be clean without water at all 😆
It’s just covering dirt with nice smell solution.
I was ready to get one but no thanks
I’m happy I’ve found your review
Do you ugh understand the concept of how wipes work lol

Thank you for sharing your experience!
Love using mine would definitely recommend
Thank you for the review I’m def getting one, my only criticism being you don’t sound grumpy at all, you sound very nice 😂
Lol my kids say I am. Thank you!
Thankyou always wondered how they work!
The first mop you show is different from the one you put batteries in?
No it is not.
You mentioned you used a spray job with reusable pads. Can you give me link?
It looks like amazon has upgraded reusable powermop pads. Price ranges from 4 for £11 to 2 heavy duty pads for £14.
Which is better, this power mop or the flash speed mop? Thanks
I prefer the flash speed mop.
@@GrumpyMansREVIEWS thanks, I’ll pick one up from Costco, £20 with 60 wipes atm. Not too bad. Thanks for the review and reply.
Just got this mop today but the white pad thihgs to put on the bottom of the mop keeps falling off..not sure if it's just me
I have one it does the job but it wood be better if it used washable pads
Agree!
You can buy washable micro fibre pads and use it. That’s what I did.
I’ve just got mine it was on sale in Asda I don’t know 🤷🏻♀️ how to put it together
Thank you for your demonstration
Thank you for the instructions!😊
what's better, flash speedmop or flash powermop?
They both have good and bad points, I do prefer the powermop.
@@GrumpyMansREVIEWS why, could you do a video comparing them please
Thanks for the suggestion
I just bought o ne of these and it only came with two batteries and two battery slots.
I’m trying to fix mine but it’s just not coming in not sure if it’s the battery
Most likely it will be the battery.
@@GrumpyMansREVIEWS yeah but what about the battery
@@Authentiqmindset Put two new batteries in.
Good for quick clean ups great review as usual
Thank you for watching
What exactly are the batteries, sorry I’m a bit slow…
To dispense the solution, you need batteries.
Iv got one of these power mops and I use rechargeable batteries
How do you make it spray?
Push the trigger behind the handle, I did show it in the video.
Great honest review.
Thank you!
Excellent demonstration
Good presentation. What a pity they didn’t provide a screw cap for the bottle, and reusable pad. Would have been far more economical to run, and more environmentally friendly!
Thank you! Agree.
How long does the 500ml bottle last for?
Depends on how much you use it. I still have some left.
the mop itself is great but the refil pads do not stick. Every single one in the refill pack would not stick to the mop. Don't waste your money
Thank you for your honest review saves me from wasting money. ill stick to my mop and bucket
Glad you found the video useful!
How do you get the solution to come out the mop im pressing the button but nothings happening
Did you put the batteries in?
I'm pressing the button and it is still not working the batteries are inserted correctly and it is making a whirring noise when I press the button but still no solution I have been trying for age's grrr
I think yours is faulty.
Thanks.

It’s look good to me very good review
Thank you.
the most un helpful item I've ever bought, no real instructions. They should just give customers a link to this video lol.

Not as good as advertised. Just gathered dirt and dust together!!!
Basically Swiffer and Flash copied each other by making the exact the same mop. 😐😐😐😐
Yeah in the USA it's Swiffer and UK Flash.
