Hi, I just want to thank you for doing this review and how to assemble. I brought this today and I did the poles fine but I wasn't sure if I had to remove the foam pad already on the on the mop, and the instructions didn't have or say anything about that. So I knew to ask Google/UA-cam and that's how I found your video. Also your definitely right about how it's perfect for disabled people with it being light and so easy and that I don't need buckets of water etc, I am disabled and it's those reasons I bought it in the 1st place. So I want to thank you as your video has 100% helped me :-) from Catherine from Peterborough, UK

@@GrumpyMansREVIEWS You are not the only person to think the foam pad had to be removed, I thought it was packaging and did not remove it but started to but it is ok now.
Also since the pads go nowhere, I started using microfibre cloths and pushing them into the fixing holes. I wet them with some flash liquid cleaner. Then when the cloth dirty I replace with another cloth. I can wash them in the washing machine so thats easy. Then I don't have to worry about whether the pads biodegrade. If I know they biodegrade I would be much happier

Thank you for the review, I bought one today at Home Bargains for £9.49 including 6 wet cloths. You can buy a box of wet cloths for £5.99 too. Think there are 24 in the box. First time I cleaned the bathroom floor , the cloth fell off, but I watched your video and secured it better for the kitchen. It's done a great job and I like that you can see the dirt coming off. thank you i just bought one for £15.99 off ebay with wet and dry pads but i couldn't work out how to make the pads stick on so pad kept coming off when i used it, now i see how to click it on, brilliant vid

Didn't realise the green strip was supposed to go that way and I appreciate you mentioning that it smells nice as I've never had a sense of smell so wouldn't have any clue!

Am here because I was utterly baffled how to fix the pad to the flat bit. truggled to even get it out of the packet. It's supposed to make things easier. I used to have a different one which was less complicated and much easier to use. Wish I still had it.
We have one of these at home, it’s not the flash one but a generic one and it’s really good. Picks up all the dust and dirty. Great video. Thanks for sharing

Was it cheaper in £land?
Yes. £10 for mop, which came with 3 refill packets. I also bought a packet with 12 refills for £5!
Just bought one this week. None in £land so went next door to b&m. Mop with 4 set pads (2 packs of 2) plus a single dry pad for £11.49. Refills are £3.49 for a box of 12..
They also have a larger box for £19.99 but I couldn't see what the difference was???
I noticed the wet cloths were sodden as I pulled the first one out so I made sure to give it a squeeze to get the excess liquid out. It still was wet enough to do my floor - around 30m². Also bought some generic floor wipes, seem to work as well. I think you pay more because the flash wipes have the green strip and a thicker central part
Great simple video review/setup. I didn't realise what the green strip was for, thought it may be for lining the pad up correctly😕, you're the only person to highlight the green scrubbing strip and how to use it. Thanks for sharing 🙂

After numerous mops breaking on me and tiresome changing of water. I decided to try this little gem love it. For people with mobility problems or need a quick and easy light weight mop i fully recommend.

good vid, but just a note - the wet pads go dry very quickly when in use. Cheaper to use microfibre pads

Great review video, I use the Speed Mop on both my Kitchen and Bathroom floors much better then waiting for a standard mop and bucket mop head to dry out ready for the next time you use it. And I like how you can remove the poles for storage.

I like these mops but the cloths dry quick I use 4 to mop the a bedroom kitchen hallway and living room I dont care how many pads I use as long as its clean I think if u mop everyday then maybe u can use less the dirtier the floor the quicker the pad will dry

Great vid - because I bought one yesterday and there are no clear instructions how to secure the pads. I mean that is rather central to using this yet the visual instructions are pitiful (on the box and pads packets - both useless).

Just bought one of these mops from ASDA. Great for quick cleaning my kitchen and bathroom laminate floors. Highly recommended. Super video, explain well. :-)

Brill vid thankyou i was wondering what the green bit was for on the wipes 😂 i only bought the starter kit see and it didnt explain that, i have mental health problems, learning difficulties and physical issues, 5 kids and 2 dogs so this mop is a massive thumbs up from me now iv watched this video and understand how to use it 😁 thankyou
Did you read the comment where a lady soaks a micro cloth in Flash liquid and washes it after use which is cheaper than buying more of the wet pads. Going to try that. I bought my mop last Tuesday.

If you choose a wide plastic box you can put the end of the mop in the box and fix the wipe to the mop-- in the box.

No, it's not unfortunately.
Starter kit comes with 2 packs of 2 lemon scented which doesn't say they are. But the box of 12 lemon scented says they are antibac

Great review. Brought after watching. Vid covers everything about. The product. Got from b and m. They also seem to sell the pads for £3 compared to 4.50 or 6 in supermarkets and Wilkinson etc

It's really good.
Pretty good the only trouble i have is getting the cleaning bit to stay on the mop head. it keeps falling off, i assume you have to poke it in the star shaped plastic holes and hope for the best...
Yeah you need to push it in with some force.

I bought a trial pack of both wet and dry pads and the mop. Previously used a spray mop from another brand. Both the wet and dry pads performed really well with the wet pad removing surface stains easily and the perfume from the lemon pads is light and refreshing. My one concern is how many wet pads I will go through compared to being able to wash and reuse the pad of my spray mop. For me, I feel this will be an option for those times when I just need to grab something quickly.

Kids on boxes not very secure. I put liquid and wipes in a plastic box with tight lid. I also keep excess liquid in case a box arrives leaking.

Got my first flash speedmop It's a 10/10 from me, only a idiot wouldn't make this work ⁉️ got from home bargains 🇬🇧
Don't throw away liquid like I did finishing a box of wipes. Next good bought had lid that would not stay on and lost its liquid on way to me. I bought a good plastic see through box that fitted a pile of wipes with a good tight lid and I use the original boxes on shelves to store bits and pieces etc.
I meant next wipes I bought had loose lid got a good plastic box with tight lid 3rd etc.
Better than the speed ads by a mile.
The ads are for promotion and marketing; not to show you how to use it. It’s frustrating.

Is the flash power mop better than the speed mop? Also can you use the wet wipes for the power mop or just the speed mop?
It depends, we have both but mainly use this. And no you cannot use the wet pods on the power mop.
I’m a student, in student accommodation a very small room and en suite, the only con I have heard regarding the speed mop is the wipes are very wet but the wetnesses dries out quickly while moping, I brought a power mop haven’t used it yet but I am considering changing for the speed mop
I think its a fairly poor way of cleaning as it leaves streaks and a cloudy finish behind. I think it just smears the dirt around !!!

@@GrumpyMansREVIEWS I have a small kitchen floor and by the time I get halfway doing the the hall floor the mop has dried out, so I have to use another refill to complete the form rest of the floor. It is working out to be very expensive

In my opinion anything is better than a mop, with a mop your just pushing dirt around.
