Gary, we chose Costco for the same reason you did! We were also Sam’s Club members-about 65 miles away-through a lot of traffic. We actually didn’t go there very often and finally stopped renewing the membership. Then they built a Costco about 50 miles away, actually very close to Isle of Palms in Mt. Pleasant, SC. Since we have medical appts in that area, usually monthly, so we joined Costco. Something to consider-if you know you’ll be buying tires or any big ticket items, upgrade your membership and you’ll earn money back on EVERY purchase. We’ve done that and earned enough money back to pay for the membership! Cassie, I think you can get a refund on the membership if you don’t like it. Prayers for you, Gary and for the Moreheads and their uncle.

I love when the donkeys went running free in the larger field they needed to stretch their legs a little more and I don’t think the heifers are gonna mind very much. It’s just a little more company for them to talk to and play with. That’s all the girls need some roomin the heifers had that so give them a little leg room is absolutely fine😂❤❤❤

Buy the Kirkland paper products they work great.😊😊. We buy their gas there. There hot dogs are great. $1.50 large hot dog and a soda. Rotisserie chicken is a good deal.

We call them a winter hat.
The closest Sams to me is either 80 or 100 miles away depending which way I go East or South. The closest Costco is over 200 miles. I buy the Sams plus membership and order online and it ships free. Maybe once a year we go to one of the big towns that has a Sams. I figure I save more than the cost of the plus membership, 128.00 I think, in gas and things that I tend to impulse buy if I go to the store.
We had the plus membership at Sam’s. It was worth it

I'm from Texas and I've always called them tabaggons.
I think Alabama calls them tobaggon. Here in Oregon a tobaggon is a sled. The hat is a beanie or stocking cap.

I’m a Costco girl. The clothes are great! I’m one person. I buy exactly what I need. Paper products, vitamins., just depends what I need, and have the storage to keep it. Get my auto insurance through them. Much cheaper.

Never heard of a “sock cap”. We call them toboggans. Gary, how long has it been since you came home. The reason I ask is whenever I have been on a plane, I pick up a cold.
It’s been about 5 days
For a family who needs glasses, their eye glasses beat prices over any other place I've been to. They also have guarantee them and will exchange if the ones you pick don't work. For me that is worth the membership.

My dad grow up in Oklahoma and told me all the story about the westher there and 8 kids in his family and during the biggest depression I want to move there all there my child hood days threw teens and after having kids after divorce I beg him to he left at 18 the navy and met my mom and stayed and most of his brothers and sister came will sorry maybe half but grew up with horses animals sure miss my parents up in heaven looking down so thank the lord for what he does the hole U S is mosty messed up because of these storms might get down to 5 blow in some parts of Texas

I too was a member of Sam's club. When Costco opened I checked it out and compared it to Sam's. Food is fresher. I got home from Sam's and as I was putting my bread away I found it was moldy. That turned me off of Sam's club went. Strictly Costco for me.

They are called a touque.
In Arkansas, they r called toboggans. Unless u ask young teenagers.., They call them beanies. They are NOT beanies kids! 😅

❤ I have both Sam's & Costco. Sam's is much more organized, staples have assigned places, so they are easier to find. The people (customers) are nicer. Employees are super helpful, and they have a "clearance" section. Costco is all over the board on where things are at from week to week. The people are RUDE & very "entitled" attitudes. (The fits they throw when their told they can't bring their dogs in! 😂) When asking employees about products, or stock quantity, they tell you to go online & check. Costco is 2 miles from my house, Sams is 15 miles, I'll drive to Sam's, unless im in a huge hurry. Even their gas set up is more organized, rather than the chaos that Costco has

Costco pays their workers so much better than Sam’s Club and Walmart. They keep the prices low and can pay a decent wage.

Never heard of a sock cap. Up North we call it a beanie or a stocking cap. Now Arms Family and Coghill call it a toboggan. Up North a Toboggan is a long sled.
@lori1508 I grew up in Missouri and we called it a sock cap, I moved to NH in 1994 and when I asked at Walmart where the sock caps were located they looked at me like I had 4 heads 😂😂

Looks like you got everything ready for the cold weather outside which I have to say you guys take wonderful care of all the animals on the farm. Here in northern Minnesota it's going to be -25/-35 for a few days now so it's time to get ready for that.
Cassie, and Gary I'm sure you know how to deal with ticks on the dogs, and your overall care of your animals is on track. I thought Alfred stepped wrong on hi foot trying to run away from the Cows. I hope his Injury heals quickly.

I call it a hat or cap. But then I have seen them tagged in stores as knit cap. Guess it depends on where you’re from as to what you call them. Stay warm and well during this hard cold winter weather.
If you will add Jami from Suits to Boots/Longhorn Lester's that would be great. She has a concussion and her jaw is wired after an accident while feeding one of the horses.
Lester had said she was in surgery several hours but is home resting now.

The donkeys definitely loved getting out and enjoyed the long free run in the larger open spaces.
They demonstrated their joy by the run and romp on getting out of the enclosure.

Costco has so many more goods and services available than Sams, and they do offer free trial passes so you can check them out before purchasing a membership.
I've lived everywhere as a military brat, service member, spouse, and now retiree - that said, I've heard that particular headgear referred to as:
Stocking cap/hat
Knit hat/cap
Winter hat/cap
Snow cap/hat
Watch cap (military wear while standing watch duty)
Sock hat
Toboggan hat (never before age 50, until I moved to TN)
To me, a toboggan will always be the sled you or the Winter Olympians ride while wearing a cold weather (Winter) head covering or helmet! 😉

Hi Gary n Cassie & Walker family, I think your gonna like Cosco. I believe it has a bigger selection than Sam's Club, but, good to have both in case one runs out of what you need. Cassie, your working too many late hours. Glad the indoor gym will be operational very soon. Will cut down on hours and will be much warmer for everyone. I watched and rewatched the video from the other day when Alfred ran from the cows...I thought I saw him lift the leg right away and limp from the cows....sending healing thoughts for him...prayer request for JAMI from (Im a Survivor, and suits to boots) She was kicked in the face by a horse, and in rough shape. My Son-in-law works at that Costco. We do not have a Costco where I live, we moved from California to Tennessee a few years ago. We do have Sam's Club, but it is NOT as good. 😢❤ I am thankful to be here, we just love Tennessee ❤😊

The donkeys were loving the pasture life! We call the knitted hats a toboggen. And try some tea tree oil in a vaporizer, or just sniff the bottle periodically, to expel that mucus out of your nose and chest! It works wonders!

I know someone else may have mentioned it, but please pray for Jami Walker, Lester Marrow's wife. She was kicked in the face early Wednesday morning when she was taking the blankets off the horses at Ima Survivor Sanctuary. She had surgery for a broken jaw, her jaw is wired shut, she had a concussion and has lost several teeth. She has a long road to recovery. 🙏🙏🙏
We have both club cards. We like Sa'ms because you don't have to buy as big of bulk. When we need big bulk we like Costco. Prices on the same items are fairly close.
Folks here in Georgia call those hats toboggan and they have never heard of the sleds that go by that name because, well, there is never any snow here. I grew up near Chicago where they were called stocking caps.
Here in Wisconsin, its an hour drive to a Costco or Sam's Club. With Cosco, if you order $75 or more, 2 day delivery is free. We have placed many orders this way. Nice to see that FedEx truck pull up. God Bless!
