You'll have to try it, maybe it'll run (maybe) but the ram is not enough and it will be very laggy. If you want to have a decent gaming-daily use PC/laptop, my advice is to upgrade to Windows 10 (free) also 2gb of ram is the minimum Windows 10 can run, upgrade to at least 8gb/4gb depending to the maximum ram your motherboard can handle but if it supports 8gb then put 8gb, 2x 4gb ram (30-50$). My last advice is to upgrade to an SSD with maybe 500gb or 1TB of space (30-100$) you can get these even cheaper. This will make you think you've bought a new PC/laptop. Also you may not want to overclock your GPU, because if you damage it you won't be able to start your PC/laptop. If you do it, you're doing it at your own risk. I don't know what gen your i3 is but if it's base speed is at least 2.4-2.6gHz or even 2.2ghz then it is worth upgrading your PC/laptop. Yes I used the one which I mentioned in the description. I've heard that the experience varies from device to device, depends on GPU etc. Also, this is the 1.0 version, you may be using the 1.5 one
@@thundenine Hmmm. Oh yeah that explains it. Man, fuck that version. They made the game's performance terrible.
Edit: Quick question tho: Is it possible to play an earlier version of the game? I don't care about Xen, I just want stable 60 fps when I'm playing on my laptop.
@@rvgr420 They actually made the game better in the new version afaik. They improved the graphics, textures and optimizations.
If you want 1.0 back, maybe go to BM discord and ask if its possible to downgrade it as I don't have any idea. (You can even search the 2012 version on the internet which is basically a mod for hl2 with BAD graphics and no xen but will run 60fps for sure)
8gb ram intel hd 4000?
OF COURSE M8
But i don't know about the hd graphics, because community say hd graphics is not recommended.
bruh just check my specs and compare yours
Intel(R) Celeron(R) N4000 CPU @ 1.10GHz

Ok, can i run this game on my old PC that looks like this:
OS: Windows 7 x64 Ultimate
Processor: Intel Pentium D CPU 3.00 GHz
Memory: 2 GB RAM DDR2
Video card: ATI Radeon HD 2600 PRO 256 MB of VRAM
Hard drive: 256 GB space (9,74 GB free on C:\ disc, 21,1 GB free on D:\ disc and 83,5 GB free on E:\ disc)
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-945PLM-S2 v1
kinda unlikely that it'll run but you can sure try.
@@thundenine Already did. And it works. Sure, i had to lower some settings, but it works. And i'm not trying to run it in 4K. Simple 1024x768 resolution is what i need.
@@deathcold_longplaysua4846 Awesome. Still I can't get over the fact that they mention you need 8gb RAM with good gpu on their website, which makes no sense LOL
@@thundenine Yeah, well i can understand them, because they don't have such old PC as i do, so they can't test their project on that kind of hardware. Anyway, i also still have an old version of black mesa back from 2015 - 2016. That one works too.
what the fuck
.
Would it run on 2 gb ram, pentium g640 2.80ghz and gpu Amd Radeon HD 7350 1gb ?
probably not
I have an HP Pavilion.
Intel core i5 6200u
8gb ddr4 - 2133 sd ram
Intel hd graphics 520
256 gb hd
Can I run it?
Would it run on Intel i5-4300u + Intel HD 4400 + 8GB of Ram? thanks.
