As I have said elsewhere on UA-cam posting for this song. It's Sabbaths most underrated song. I wish that they had published an album in this style. Never mind I can lie back and listen to the this for 5 hours.....

Sensational, just that! When I saw the video for this song, a certainty and passion welled up inside me and today, I can only thank this prodigious band because it was through them that I built my census of discoveries across the universe and today I am "navigating the seas of the cosmos" armed with my astronomical equipment performing formidable observations.

Thank you so much for this, TheWidow. An idea who's time has clearly come.... how could this song not be 5 hours long in the first place. C'mon fellas... smh. Lol
Btw, I too am a widow as of Thanksgiving 2018. Goddess... and love of my life... My reason for everything, and I am so very lost to this day, and sometimes this is the only thing that gets me through. No words for how much I appreciate it.

This song never fails to bring me to tears.
It gets me thinking about how tiny and insignificant we are to the universe. And how little we can know of it.
There is no purpose, there is no meaning, only suffering and eventually, death.

    Yes. Yes, it is.
*Editing to add an anecdote- back in high school we used to jam with a singer whose first language was French, and he didn't know the English word "crimson". I saw him write out the lyrics to this as "the Krims and I", like as if the Krims was some sort of entity.

    We sail through endless skies
    Stars shine like eyes
    The black night sighs
    The moon in silver trees
    Falls down in tears
    Light of the night
    The Earth, a purple blaze
    Of sapphire haze
    In orbit always
    While down below the trees
    Bathed in cool breeze
Silver starlight breaks down the night
And so we pass on by the crimson eye
    Of great god Mars
As we travel through the universe

Wow. I made a LONG version of this song with a Radio Shack computer keyboard synth program. The words were obviously just musical notes. But I never thought in a million years someone would do something like this to this golden metal oldie that seemed like an obscure song few can remember, let alone have heard (and liked). Crazy original idea you had here!
