Same here. I asked an elder coworker years ago what the secret was to her 30 year marriage and she said "marry a man who loves you a little more than you love him". I was so young then took me years to fully get it. Great advice.

This is what I hear men call “simping” , it’s concerning. But this video brought clarity to me, we need fathers like this. There’s something pure and peaceful about how Tony teaches, you can’t fake this. This is wisdom.

Trust me, you can always see it on a woman’s face when she is miserable in a marriage. And the opposite is the same. You can see when a man treats his wife well. At my former job, the spouses of employees came in for their flu shots. One of the mangers wife came in, he met her at the door and took her to the flu place, then walked her back to the door when she was done. He gave her a kiss when she left. She looked like she was on cloud nine the whole time. So that’s how I knew it wasn’t an act. You can tell that he treats her well in private and public.

Yes, I believe a man should love more. From my dating experiences i've noticed when I was interested in the man more it was me getting the short in of the stick. When a man likes me more its like 'Wow, this is quite interesting to see." It's nice to not feel like a fool anymore and allow the man to show his interests. It's not that I'm not interested but we're on the same page.

I came to this understanding very early in life, in relationships where the woman loves more--- she gets screwed over--- but when men love more it's more successful because she appreciates it/him more.

Tony talked about his desire for marriage at age 16...some men prefer situationships, even w a woman hes afraid to loose.... some men will get a strong woman like Sherri Gaskins and not make up in their mind to get it together for her, cse hes so invested in having multiple women, and will try to do right by her, but still be sneaky...some men are afraid of loosing you, and try, but will they do everything to be a good husband? It has to be imo in a mans desire to love one woman. Its not just about her being a strong woman, its abt the mindset of that man. He has to choose love, choose monogamy💯. Some men can have a strong woman that their afraid to loose, but is it in them to do right? or is he trying w everything to keep her the right way? I wonder what my life would be like if my mother would've taught me...find a man who loves u more than u love him. It would've saved me a lot of heartache.
Those of us who grew up observing men disrespect and brutalize our mothers must spend time repairing ourselves. This kind of role modeling is so damaging. We see a dysfunctional relationship and that behavior is normalized. We develop a comfort zone around it. We grow up not understanding how a good man shows a woman love. We see in abusive male-female interaction a woman oftentimes placating her man. We see her having low expectations of being shown kindness and respect. Our idea of what we should give a man emotionally is influenced by watching scenarios where mom needed to beg for love. Because she was in a role of being reliant on a man, often in servitude to him, dependant on him and unhealthily bonded with him . . . her idea of loving a man equates to pleasing him at all costs, while expecting little of him. She does a lot to keep him happy because his displeasure results in anger and insults, even beatings.

Great description of how love should be and also of how grown boys mistreat women, make them feel less than so that they can obtain more without deserving. If you are a woman who loves fully, with all your being, you will give the highest level of love. BUT when you are also a woman with self-love, you won't ever accept anything less than the same highest level of love that you give. So love yourself and that will make you get distance from those who try to get you cheaper and draw you closer to those who value you at your real worth, it will make you wait for the man to lead in love, prove his feelings with actions before you do the same.

The bible commands wives to respect their husbands. This means revering, admiring and honoring their husbands. A good wife values her husband's opinions, admires his values and character, and is considerate of his needs, but I haven't seen yet in the bible where it says to love the husband. But the bible clearly tells the man to love the woman. Please prove me incorrect if you find it in the bible. thank you.

You are right sis, its the lack of training from our mother's that has thrown us to the wolves of society to be our teachers.
Men do not thrive when they receive love from their wives. They either wilt or become rebels. Our love should be held close and only given in increments.
We like to complicate things as women. Our quest to be adored vs honoured by our husbands is doing a disservice to us.
Focus on respect ladies and your marriage will be filled with peace.

Tony those same women who do all the extra for attention will swear they don't do it for a man. Even though inside they truly do. Most are conflicted within themselves will not ever be able to receive the type of love they desire from a self evolved man. They must love themselves in a way that is so powerful that any man that even enters her space has the capacity to match that and also evolve it. This type of love takes work individually and as a unit. You and the Mrs have a history built on solid authentic growth. Most women aren't willing to put that type of patience and care in without immediate gratification and some men don't even try because society views that as a weakness. I'm 6 years in and it's been a beautiful thing but it has not been easy but also the capacity we are at at 37 is different so it's more of a natural reciprocation based on our love languages and our styles of communication. That has taken alot of stepping away from what society deems weak and what society says a relationship is. Some days I lead in love and some days he leads but all days we are aligned, I'm not chasing validation and all that and vice versa. So I have no problem doing things to show I too as his wife can show how valued he is however I feel necessary. But again this is not girlfriend boyfriend type of stuff.

Men need to love more . Men these days don't know how to love and treat a women. Sad but true !! Men and women should be appreciated. Not being appreciated is the one thing I cannot stand. You do things for that person to try to make them happy and there unappreciative of what you do for them. I cannot stand complainers and people who take other people granted for being a good listener and a good person and always being there for that person,but when it's not being reciprocated that I don't like then it's time to leave. This is what a call a one sided relationship.
Thank you Tony for teaching me what true love looks and acts like. I grew up in home where my father was never present and a mother who was addicted to drugs. So I was neglected in every area a child needs love and attention. Through you videos I am learning my value as a woman and what to expect out of a healthy loving relationship.
