- UA-cam removed dislikes in 2021 but there was 1 extension that quickly gained popularity - Return UA-cam Dislike. It currently has 3 million users. The extension estimates dislikes for all videos by every channel on UA-cam, like MrBeast, PewDiePie, T-Series, Cocomelon and more... But there has been a small issue with the extension...

@@tman365 And that's why people disliked the video. People have higher tolerances of certain clickbaits than others, and clickbaiting for a stance that people disagree with is not one of them.
@@cameronschyuder9034 I'm assuming that by the "stance" you mean that people think the extension shows the accurate number. If yes, then I really don't know what to say. You cannot just be presented with a fact and then somehow manage to ignore that said fact. Yes, the video was cringe, but that does not mean that what I said was wrong? No, I am right. Did I want views from this? Yes, I had youtuber dreams. Did I go extreme with the title? Actually, not really. Fake means not real and the extension number is not real, it's an estimate (nerdy emoji yes🤓). Should this all really matter? Nope, it's just an estimation system assumed to be real, that's all.

Its not the creator's fault. It's UA-cam's.
True, never blamed the creators for anything, they just made an estimated system for dislikes, which uses a good system. I really just wanted to show that it isn't the legitimate dislike count but an estimate, though ofc I could've executed it far better than I did.
The counts are more accurate, the higher the proportion of extension users.
If there are not many that use the extension, they might be more likely to dislike, as they are not the target audience, skewing the results.

@@tman365 because the title is purposefully misleading. There's a very significant difference between "fake" and "not 100% accurate due to guesswork". I know how it works and I would not have clicked on the video if it were appropriately named.

false, it's 89 (which is a lot), but the estimate the extension gives is close (guessing that's where the estimate is from). Still cannot exactly pin point why that is the case, I didn't say anything false in the video and didn't say the extension sucked (it doesn't. I guess some people just don't want to accept the fact that estimate is not the same as reality.

It seems like a lot of people were not happy with this video. I'm not exactly sure why, all I said is that the Return UA-cam Dislike extension gives an estimate and not the accurate dislike count and even said that I think the system they use is interesting. In case for some reason you actually think the dislike count is real, the extension states that this video has 8 dislikes, though in reality it has 38 (as of 08/02 - 56) dislikes (dang bruh :( nah). Or people just disliked because this vid is cringe, which I get that one lol.

Yeah I see that the count is completely inaccurate for smaller channels. The makers of the plugin should explicitly state that it's an estimate based on predictions and not real numbers.
