Thanks for watching Kathy! To my ear, that sounds more like he just drops the four on the first measure of the chorus rather than an all-out time change... that's how I handle that part, I stay in four the whole time. Here's a link to a performance from one of my livestreams last November. I totally screwed up though, and treated the second verse as if it were a chorus! And then I dropped my pick and had to grab the spare... nevertheless you can see how I play the whole tune if you like: ua-cam.com/video/n7Rce6YeJRA/v-deo.html
Good job .
Thanks for watching!
Thanks, Dave. Really appreciate it.
You are very welcome!
Thanks for this! One thing that trips me up is the timing! He goes back & forth between 3/4 and 4/4, doesn't he? Like in the chorus. 3/4-4/4 x 4?

@@DaveDraperGuitar I'm just doing it in straight 4 for now. Thank you!
Thank you! That's the way I play it as well. Do you do "Right Here Now"? Is that one in "double D" (sorry) as well? 😁
That is one I have not attempted, and that James did not do during his pandemic streams...
@@DaveDraperGuitar yeah. I was hoping he would dust it off. Great song. One of my personal favorites for sure.
@@DaveDraperGuitar and I always did Forgotten Coast in regular dropped d. Sounds way better this way!
@@jankdale Just went and checked, Right Here Now is in DDD with capo II, like a ton of other McTunes. Now I'm going to have to learn it! 😁
@@jankdale He never did Dusty Pages either, speaking of dust...!
