The ranking up system is sold, the only money transactions is for skins that don't affect gameplay, and the new Rise of Skywalker update finally fixed the first order troop balance with the addition of the new jet trooper and sith trooper

I’m 14 now and I’ll tell you the original is fun, but only because of some random things like the sarlac and rancor on certain maps, and galactic conquest. The new one I can play for much longer and not get bored. I only like the old one more because of nostalgia. Otherwise the old one is pretty content lacking.
I've been playing this game since launch, I've been through its ups and downs, since they added all the new heroes and removed microtransactions. When I first played it the graphics blew me away, as a star wars fan the immersion fascinated me, to be able to live my star wars fantasies. As a person who owns the game and plays it every now and then to check on updates, No Man's Sky just makes me want to play other far more refined space sims whenever I play for more than an hour. Yes, the game has improved immensely since launch, but all that means is it's currently about as vast as an ocean and deep as a puddle.
they did make amazing come back and added everything everyone wanted but its just as the guy above me said it's more vast then earth but as deep as a bathtub. i still like playing it now and then but ive reached the point where i don't really like it that much and more which is kinda sad. its such a good game but its not intersting enough

Missu McFadden it could’ve been so much more. In fact it was far less than what was promised and what everyone expected. They haven’t even touched the core of what the game’s focus and abilities is about since they removed the pay to win feature, that was the main focus that all of the heroes, soldier types, credits, crystals (I don’t know if they did something with those yet, correct me if I’m wrong), weapons, abilty cards, soon to be skins (which are nice might I add), etc. But those were centered around paying to get there, without something to latch onto, most of those mentions are now more meaningless and not centered around anything, there’s almost nothing to achieve. The first Battlefield was fun to me and still is because it didn’t start with BS and it was unique in its own right. Maps were mostly balanced, except a few (I’m talking about you Twilight on Hoth). Anyways, they aren’t updating much on it which is a shame because while it is improving on some things it’s lacking at its core, it’s too shallow. There are less customizations than the first which sucks, as well as all the fun weapons being nerfed to the point of lameness, and the heroes get buffed to the point of being way to OP to take out.
Game was trash when it first came out. When something is that bad early on, with will take a long time for people to see it in a different light even if it is good at some point.
That commenter 'JODishere is spamming lots of popular UA-camr channels with the same comment copy pasted, so that he can monetize, and market himself easily with the new UA-cam "Ranking" system. Depending on what UA-camrs you comment on, the frequency at which you comment on, and what the comments consist of, are a major part to the ranking system, and he is abusing the system. I admire his campaign, but find it to be a bit agitating for those who are given this comment.
It's been good for atleast year imo. Its really just got known for being good for the later part of this year. Hell, if I'm gonna be honest the main reason why people disliked the game, microtransactions, got destroyed somewhere close to launch.
I don't think it has ever been "bad" ever, just incredibly underwhelming. I will still always say that the original Battlefront II from 2005 is better, but this one is pretty damn close to the quality of the first one.

Missu McFadden it could’ve been so much more. In fact it was far less than what was promised and what everyone expected. They haven’t even touched the core of what the game’s focus and abilities is about since they removed the pay to win feature, that was the main focus that all of the heroes, soldier types, credits, crystals (I don’t know if they did something with those yet, correct me if I’m wrong), weapons, abilty cards, soon to be skins (which are nice might I add), etc. But those were centered around paying to get there, without something to latch onto, most of those mentions are now more meaningless and not centered around anything, there’s almost nothing to achieve. The first Battlefield was fun to me and still is because it didn’t start with BS and it was unique in its own right. Maps were mostly balanced, except a few (I’m talking about you Twilight on Hoth). Anyways, they aren’t updating much on it which is a shame because while it is improving on some things it’s lacking at its core, it’s too shallow. There are less customizations than the first which sucks, as well as all the fun weapons being nerfed to the point of lameness, and the heroes get buffed to the point of being way to OP to take out.

Game was trash when it first came out. When something is that bad early on, with will take a long time for people to see it in a different light even if it is good at some point.

That commenter 'JODishere is spamming lots of popular UA-camr channels with the same comment copy pasted, so that he can monetize, and market himself easily with the new UA-cam "Ranking" system.
Depending on what UA-camrs you comment on, the frequency at which you comment on, and what the comments consist of, are a major part to the ranking system, and he is abusing the system.
I admire his campaign, but find it to be a bit agitating for those who are given this comment.

It hasn’t been “bad” for over a year.
I don't think it has ever been "bad" ever, just incredibly underwhelming. I will still always say that the original Battlefront II from 2005 is better, but this one is pretty damn close to the quality of the first one.
Well bad is subjective when it comes to games and movies. A game might be completely broken to shit and yet you may have fun with it.
Imo it became good after the grevious and geonosis update.(maybe cuz im a prequel fan)

The game still has tons of issues if you look from a skeptical point of view, but it’s been extremely fun from the launch. I’d even say that it has never been "bad".
On launch this game wasn't something I wouldn't even touch with a ten foot pole. Two years after & it's one of my favorite games of all time & favorite multiplayer game of all time

Thank you for supporting dice and all their work to make the game good, but be careful because the battlefront community is planning to go try hard after the holidays to mess with new players that just got the game, such as yourself
Its really fun , when you start to feel burnt out and than you realize there is also starfighter mode : this is where the fun begin
