I've actually stuck with this game since launch, I can confirm that this is the BEST state SWBF2 has ever been in. The ranking up system is sold, the only money transactions is for skins that don't affect gameplay, and the new Rise of Skywalker update finally fixed the first order troop balance with the addition of the new jet trooper and sith trooper

The new one I can play for much longer and not get bored. I only like the old one more because of nostalgia. Otherwise the old one is pretty content lacking.

I don't think it has ever been "bad" ever, just incredibly underwhelming. I will still always say that the original Battlefront II from 2005 is better, but this one is pretty damn close to the quality of the first one.

I've been playing this game since launch, I've been through its ups and downs, since they added all the new heroes and removed microtransactions. When I first played it the graphics blew me away, as a star wars fan the immersion fascinated me, to be able to live my star wars fantasies. Can someone explain to me what kind of game this is? Are there any comparable games? I’m looking for a game to play with my brother casually since I’ll be moving abroad in January
Missu McFadden it could’ve been so much more. In fact it was far less than what was promised and what everyone expected. They haven’t even touched the core of what the game’s focus and abilities is about since they removed the pay to win feature, that was the main focus that all of the heroes, soldier types, credits, crystals (I don’t know if they did something with those yet, correct me if I’m wrong), weapons, abilty cards, soon to be skins (which are nice might I add), etc. But those were centered around paying to get there, without something to latch onto, most of those mentions are now more meaningless and not centered around anything, there’s almost nothing to achieve. The first Battlefield was fun to me and still is because it didn’t start with BS and it was unique in its own right. Maps were mostly balanced, except a few (I’m talking about you Twilight on Hoth). Anyways, they aren’t updating much on it which is a shame because while it is improving on some things it’s lacking at its core, it’s too shallow. There are less customizations than the first which sucks, as well as all the fun weapons being nerfed to the point of lameness, and the heroes get buffed to the point of being way to OP to take out.
Game was trash when it first came out. When something is that bad early on, with will take a long time for people to see it in a different light even if it is good at some point.

Ive been playing this on and off with my friends for a while. This game is so much better with friends because of the chaos that goes on that you get to commentate, and you can stick together and act like a real army or something.
That commenter 'JODishere is spamming lots of popular UA-camr channels with the same comment copy pasted, so that he can monetize, and market himself easily with the new UA-cam "Ranking" system. Depending on what UA-camrs you comment on, the frequency at which you comment on, and what the comments consist of, are a major part to the ranking system, and he is abusing the system. I admire his campaign, but find it to be a bit agitating for those who are given this comment.
I just hope JOD finds some success in what he is doing, I can’t imagine how low in life he must be to decide that the best option for him would be stream 10 hours a day spamming the same in every comment
Yo penguin, idk if you figured this out yet, but if not, here’s a little tip on lightsaber combat. Firstly, it’s good to let the enemy attack first, you always want to be ahead of them with stamina so you can more easily attack them if they run out of stamina themselves. Also, if you run out of stamina, you can’t block and will be forced to take damage. Secondly, on the subject of blocking, if you are blocking with your lightsaber, it cancels force abilities, which is why in the video some of your force abilities didn’t work. The only force ability that can stop you while you are blocking is one of lukes abilities. When engaging in combat, you want to use your force abilities while the enemy is not blocking so you affect them, and block against their abilities so you aren’t affected. Hopefully this helped ya out a little bit, and hopefully you will play this game more!

This game was "fixed" over a year ago. The shitty MTX have been gone fora while. This isn't something that happened overnight with the TROS update.

Cardboard Box its very similar to the Battlefield games. It’s basically a Star Wars version of the battlefield games.

Missu McFadden it could’ve been so much more. In fact it was far less than what was promised and what everyone expected. They haven’t even touched the core of what the game’s focus and abilities is about since they removed the pay to win feature, that was the main focus that all of the heroes, soldier types, credits, crystals (I don’t know if they did something with those yet, correct me if I’m wrong), weapons, abilty cards, soon to be skins (which are nice might I add), etc. But those were centered around paying to get there, without something to latch onto, most of those mentions are now more meaningless and not centered around anything, there’s almost nothing to achieve. The first Battlefield was fun to me and still is because it didn’t start with BS and it was unique in its own right. Maps were mostly balanced, except a few (I’m talking about you Twilight on Hoth). Anyways, they aren’t updating much on it which is a shame because while it is improving on some things it’s lacking at its core, it’s too shallow. There are less customizations than the first which sucks, as well as all the fun weapons being nerfed to the point of lameness, and the heroes get buffed to the point of being way to OP to take out.

Game was trash when it first came out. When something is that bad early on, with will take a long time for people to see it in a different light even if it is good at some point.

Ive been playing this on and off with my friends for a while. This game is so much better with friends because of the chaos that goes on that you get to commentate, and you can stick together and act like a real army or something.

That commenter 'JODishere is spamming lots of popular UA-camr channels with the same comment copy pasted, so that he can monetize, and market himself easily with the new UA-cam "Ranking" system.
Depending on what UA-camrs you comment on, the frequency at which you comment on, and what the comments consist of, are a major part to the ranking system, and he is abusing the system.
I admire his campaign, but find it to be a bit agitating for those who are given this comment.

Yo penguin, idk if you figured this out yet, but if not, here’s a little tip on lightsaber combat. Firstly, it’s good to let the enemy attack first, you always want to be ahead of them with stamina so you can more easily attack them if they run out of stamina themselves. Also, if you run out of stamina, you can’t block and will be forced to take damage. Secondly, on the subject of blocking, if you are blocking with your lightsaber, it cancels force abilities, which is why in the video some of your force abilities didn’t work. The only force ability that can stop you while you are blocking is one of lukes abilities. When engaging in combat, you want to use your force abilities while the enemy is not blocking so you affect them, and block against their abilities so you aren’t affected. Hopefully this helped ya out a little bit, and hopefully you will play this game more!
