Footworks of single players those days just so smooth…
ah those days where this ridiculous looking jerseys were in trend😅
very tight game! 3 sets beyond 20-20 points! what a great match
4:24 that backhand
imagine trying to pressure backhand for advantage and *that* comes flying back at 250 km an hour.
really love TH's reaction after he lost , he was angry but show great respect to PG
2:32 that shot was astonishing
Almost every rally has skillful shots in this match. 2:36 The rally after that, with the hold and flick.
This One is one of my favourite matches!
What a close match! It was insane
Good play
This is why we have Hawk Eye nowadays
9:13 interesting smash
i saw this match and i compared to nowadays mens singles top match such like Axelsen, Kunlavut, Ginting, Shi Yuqi, and i found some big differences between these 14 years such as:
1. Players like Lin Dan, Lee Chong Wei, Taufik Hidayat, and Peter Gade have minimal unforced errors compared to today's top players in their match. I'm guessing its because those 4 kings experienced old scoring system that makes player must have good defenses, focus and stamina. So they didn't used fancy shots, scan and risky shots often because they rather play safe and let the opponent do the mistake. Players like Axelsen, Ginting, Shi Yuqi, Antonsen etc now get used to rally new scoring points, makes their training is about attacks and kills as fast as possible, rather than endurance. Only a few top players in the top 10 ranking use rally style of game (Jonatan Christie, Kunlavut Vitidsarn, Lakshya Sen)
2. They didnt bother to use trickshots or risky shots, they chose to play safe and push the opponents back to have their own advantage in the next shots compared to so many risky shots nowadays
3. They have good defenses so flat fast exchange and drives is not so common, different with today's game
Nice ❤
What a match two legends of the game
First ! It's so rare !
Taufik so smooth
Ah that legendary arcsaber 10 racket. Both of them used it
4:24 imagine that TH did that backhand with 34 lbs string tension..
iya imbang sih,,tapi Taufik pernah juara apa aja sih
Lu tau apa?
@@sesigaming7919 goe tau Taufik banyak kalahnya dari menangnya
@@m.j686samaa kaya loe banyak bacotnya 😅
Taufik banyak dirugikan keputusan wasit
4:12 😂😂😂😂
Taufik got cheated on that last few points 😂
taufik don't have a net play LOL always unforced errors lol
In his heydays, his net shots were insane. This wasn't one of those days. 😅
Yes, Taufik was known for his tight net play to force his opponents for a short lift so he can smash.
Sir, Taufik rewrote the whole net gameback in the 2000s
