I don't have words that could help to show my appreciation to you, Dr. Berg. Yes, I got sick, but it's the doctors here in my country who took me down to hell. They claimed that my insulin resistance is due to the fact that I have fibromyalgia. They started giving me an unbelievably large dose of insulin that messed me up and kept me in bed for years, till I came across you DOC on youtube. THANK you!!!!!

For crying out loud, I finally got it!! The Cell are Resistant to Insulin = Insulin Resistance. Well, it took me long enough to get that part. I am so much more excited now! If it's possible.

Honestly, I believe I've been insulin resistant since puberty. Sure I was thin but I've always carried around an extra 10 lbs of fat. My muscles also have never shown, even when going to the gym or cutting calories (80's diet). This is completely different now. I've been doing healthy Keto + IF for 9 months and I am leaner and lighter than ever before. I have muscles that I didn't know existed and my artieries expand to an amazing size. My weight as a teenager was 64 kg (175cm tall) and at age 48 now it is 59 kg, maintaining this without effort.

Time and time again I find myself looking to your videos. I watch them, then watch them again. The information you provide is timeless and without expiration. You help thousands of people. I want to be selfish and say unequivocally that you have helped ME on occasions so numerous I faulter in finding the number. Thank you 3000. A medical doctor that understands and cares about nutrition is the definition of a complete practitioner and is as rare as a blue diamond (and just as valuable). I do not exaggerate in stating that your informative and caring videos have saved my life. I will post a separate comment detailing my testimony.

I am very thankful for you and your information. You and Dr. Westman have helped me more then you could know. I found you and Dr. Westman and Keto on youtube while looking for an alternative to weight loss surgery. April 24, 2017 I started my Keto life and I am like 38 pounds down as of today. (I think, I haven't weighed in a couple days. I may have hit 40 down) Thank you for sharing all of this information.
Tomorrow I am going for a physical and I'm nervous but happy I can share that I am making positive changes.
One more thing, I lost 90 pounds 10 years ago doing low carb and high protein this seems so much healthier and easier to stay on track. I actually forget about food for most of the day. And once the weight is gone this time It will not be back I gained it all back the first time during pregnancy. No more babies for my husband and I so keeping the weight off should not be an issue.
Thank You Dr. Berg from the bottom of my heart.

    Dr. Berg,
Would you please make a video on thyroid conditions, especially the roles of T4, T3 and TSH? I hear other doctors use these terms, but they don't define them.
Love your videos! I have watched them all, and I've lost 20 pounds In the last four months. Your videos on intermittent fasting helped me break through a six week plateau. I'm turning 55 in September. I was diagnosed with high triglycerides and osteoporosis a few years ago. In addition to being 20 pounds lighter since April, I feel 20 years younger. Thank you for helping me restore my health.

It could be that you take a lot of NSAIDs.
The NSAIDs aren't bad, but when you do not drink enough water, it's really hard for your kidneys to filter it out. Drink plenty of water and allow homeostasis do its job.
      Good luck.

How much flax seed oil, i was told by my son's nutritionist to stop using flax seed oil for 2 reasons, 1st. It raises estrogen levels and 2nd) damages tbe liver. Is this true because I was using flax witg fish oil for a long time and it helped me lose belly fat, so i started giving it to my son, but since hearing what the nutritionist said we stopped. So do you take with cod liver oil and I thought you stated that salmon oil was better? Before finding your information Dr. Berg i also found out that flax seed oil works better combined with fish oil but after finding out what i wrote above....we habe stopped. I also know that while taking flax seed it causes heavy menstruation , this is also known to happen when women have optopic(kidney in the pelvic area). I hope i hearvfrom you Dr. Berg because my headaches are crazy. 💘 your videos. Gb

I've lost 17 pounds in the last 7 weeks doing KETO. I have not counted calories at all. I mostly look at carb content of the food I eat to stay around 20 g per day. Of course if you binge and just over-stuff yourself you might not lose weight. But eating high fat fills you up so you won't over eat.

No wonder I have been feeling so much better after ingesting lots of oil and fats! May have to watch the excessive calories...

Bani Ahluwalia Dr Berg always says to use nutritional yeast for all vit Bs. I usually put it on my salads.

Jessica Steward that's right. It has all the water soluble b vits. But in this video he says to take the fat soluble b vits. We don't know anything about those. That's why I'm asking about the link on these

Bani Ahluwalia - Just guessing here but I'd suggest looking at the link "DR. BERG'S SHOP".

QUESTION: I have issues with numbness in my fingers and at times it gets so bad as when you hit yourself in an elbow with a hard surface and you feel that pain, that's how I feel my fingers at a time. Is this what kind of deficiency, please? Thank you.

Think excess like iron, not necessary deficiency. Find my comment. Best to you.

Yes, I would agree with you to say it is probably peripheral neuropathy. You can get it in both fingers and toes /feet.
It is because you have to have enough B-vitamins and Zinc to protect and repair and replace myelin which goes around your nerves.
The Best B1 vitamin for this is Benfotamine around 600 mg/daily and Zinc 75 - 100 mg /daily.
You need the rest of the vitamins as well and magnesium and potassium and the essential amino acids. You have test of your self how mých of each you need. It is like much else with diabetes it's clear that we need it but in individual amounts. Good luck and take good care of yourself and your health.
