My spouse is hard of hearing so although he can hear some frequencies, a huge chunk of typical human voice frequencies he cant hear at all. And for some reason the typical AI created closed captions (better than nothing) are missing on this vid. So I end up having to translate.

Something I think is neat is how the broadcast seemed to try and recreate the episode. A child was whisked away from their family during the storm, and and now with every broadcast a storm hits and reminds that kid's loved ones about their dissappearance

I love the ARG but it really does take me out of it that the presumably decade-old forum posts are using modern slang/sentiment like "I want to dropkick him" and "She kinda bad tho."
'She kinda bad tho' is also older than you think. At one point it was regional to portions of the American South and NYC - places with higher densities of black and hispanic folk. South Florida, Georgia. But given the internet, it spread lmao I can personally attest I was using it as far back as 2012.

16:15 wait so they're using a real world weather event where people actually died as story building for the ARG? I don't know how I feel about that honestly. It hits the same note as one of the FNAF ARGs using real missing children pictures.
I doubt it’s really doing that, but instead using a similar event in place of the real event. If you notice, there’s no reference to the actual real world event in the show. However comparing the use of a weather event to real missing children is a bit of a far cry
Felt like I needed to jump in and address this myself. First off, I do not consider Lucy's Bedroom to exist in our exact reality. Future installments in the series intend to make this more clear. My world simply mirrors things in the world we live in, including people, franchises, and events. I never intend on using a real, one to one tragedy from our reality for mere shock value. However, I also do not consider a surplus of dangerous weather to be on a similar level as real life violence inflicted on people, and I do not condone works that use such ideas for shock value. Any story that talks about a dangerous storm will have to draw on real life examples to portray them accurately. My story needed a time where many storms occurred, and I was inspired by the biggest recorded event. I definitely understand and respect the callout, and without spoiling too much, wanted to let you know that I am very conscious about these creative decisions and intend to treat them with care and subtlety. Rest assured, my story will not go down "that route." - PH

Before I even watch this I can assume there wasn’t actually 300 fatalities let alone because of a game, so I guess I’m confused why this is even the title of the video. I love stuff like this, but I don’t really enjoy being click baited, I wanna find something to watch that sparks my interest and that when I click on it to watch it I can believe that is what the video is titled is what the video is going be about. Just a comment and didn’t mean for it to sound rude if it does. Just a comment. Still really am enjoying the video though.
